That’s when Williams is at his best. He’s been doing that all year. The key is to get him on the ground when you have a chance.

Exactly. They’ve held the Heisman winner to 17 TDs. Not saying they can’t ultimately blow ND out but the OL has laid an egg. I understand that SC doesn’t respect the pass and can load the box but if, in game 12; ND hasn’t adjusted or failed to prepare…that’s an ND problem.

My biggest issue is he hasn’t progressed one iota in his ability to read a defense or his internal clock. That’s the problem.

I’m def not arguing that. I completely agree with you. I’m just saying the fact he is 8-8 right now is a good sign cause he’s actually connecting with guys and making the right throws.

Reading the defense and his internal clock is a whole other problem that frankly I never see him ever getting down

There are at least 2-3 players on USCs roster they got from the portal that ND could never and would never be able to get and right now have no interest in pursuing in regard to the portal. ND doesn’t use it. They are their own worst enemy.

I think ND will/ have to come around on the portal process cause it’s a huge factor in a lot of top teams being good
