Just about everyone in the MAC is fighting for bowl eligibility. Kent State needs to win their last two games to get there.

Sean Lewis is in Year Five at Kent State. He's 23-30 overall, 18-16 in the MAC. 1-1 in bowl games. I don't know if failing to get to a bowl buys him another year, but this guy is highly thought of as an offensive mind. 36 years old and coached under Dino Babers at EIU, BGSU and Syracuse so he's got the Briles Blueprint down.

This is most definitely someone who if he got his walking papers from Kent State would be on the OC radar as someone who can put points on the board, coach QBs and would have HC experience.

I really like EMU HC Chris Creighton. EMU is considered one of the toughest places to win and he has the program bowl eligible for the fifth time. His record is not at all impressive on paper but, again, consider it is EMU and the dude should get his props.

Our old pal Chuck Martin is 4-6 overall and needs to win his last two games to get Miami, OH to a bowl game. He has to go through 3-7 NIU first and then faces 5-6 Ball State in the season finale.

Hoping Miami OH wins this which would set up a 5-6 street fight for bowl eligibility.

Super disappointing year for Chuck and Miami... this was the year they were supposed to get to the MAC title game. Veteran squad: veteran QB, veteran RB's and WR's, four returning starters on the OL.

Not a ringing endorsement when the path to MAC glory is either finding a superstar out of the blue, or cycling to a junior/senior squad every few years.

Miami OH Managed the win last night against NIU setting up a finale with also 5-6 Ball State. Winner is bowl eligible.

Western Michigan knocks off CMU in the snow, taking CMU out of bowl eligibility at 4-7.

Eastern Michigan knocks off Kent State 31-24, making Kent State 4-7 as well. Impressed with EMU. Not sure what the future holds for Sean Lewis.

Bowling Green squares off against Ohio for the MAC East and a chance to go to Detroit for the MAC Championship.

Bowling Green took a 7-0 lead and that was all the juice they had. Ohio is headed to Detroit to meet Toledo.

Should be an indoor pro stadium within the geographical footprint. I would love to see them play it in Indianapolis, personally. Detroit while improving, is a major drag. In most years, Indy doesn't get a ton of snow like Detroit and is more fun. I went to an IU v Ball State game at Lucas Oil, it was awesome!

As we prepare for two LA schools to join the Big Ten, I'm going to agree with you here from a logistical standpoint as well as the idea that these teams are based in Michigan and Ohio for the most part and don't need to take what little commerce the MAC Championship Game generates out of the region.

The Bears getting a new stadium down the line could also be an option.

They should just embrace the fact that everyone loves betting on mid-week Maction and have their title game in Vegas.
