I would challenge anyone to find a random Braylon James tape of 20 plays, then compare that to the best 20 plays that Elzy has ever put on tape, and then try and tell me that James should be 13 WR spots below Elzy.

And don't get me started about the competition.

This crap has been going on for years. Trust the staff of the team you support and your own football sensibilities.

The Chicago Public League is over represented in the state playoffs because Illinois went from 6 classes to 8 and each class has to field 32 teams for a full playoff bracket. That means lots of 5-4 city teams that get served up as sacraficial lambs and a lot of 9-0 one seeds that get exposed playing 5-4 teams that faced way better conference play in the regular season.

James is better. Being that this staff hasn't had the benefit of a head start with the 2023 class because they all just got hired this past winter, if they can take Enzy in the class with James I'd do it. It comes to Rees and Stuckey believing he's worth it so long as admissions and all the other stuff checks out before the football.

Not much buzz from the Cincy side ahead of his announcement, but that may be by design. Their guys often go quiet, and then get rowdy just prior to the announcement once Fickell does his thing on Twitter.

Illinois felt good early from what I've read, but seems to have faded.

The surprise factor would be a scUM decision, but I think the Bearcats might have this one wrapped up.

Had an ok game this past weekend in their big win over a very young Morgan Park team that was also 7-0. 3 catches for 68 yards and an INT on defense. Simeon is 8-0.

Teams are going to key on him in the playoffs for sure.
