For sure, I have seen reports of that. Whatever I read earlier today made it seem like there were US Special Forces on the ground working covertly too. I can't find or remember where I read it now, so either the information got scrubbed or it was bogus info. Who knows.
id be surprised if US actual sanctioned SF were on the ground. I know there are some Americans fighting there but they aren’t official US military. Interesting.

Why would Russia destroy their own pipeline when all they would have to do is turn it off if they wanted to stop transporting gas to Europe? Why would they destroy it to the point of it being irreparable? It makes no sense. Why is there clips of western officials saying if Russia didnt do what the west wanted the Nordstream Pipeline would be canceled/destroyed. There is no evidence Russia committed the act. The only country that benefits from this is the US. No other country benefits in any way. It just makes Western Europe more dependent on US Natural gas and takes away the ability to transport Russian gas even in the future when all this is over.

This is likely better in the original Russian.

Damn this American Colonel doesn't seem to think the Ukrainians are doing as good as western media and propaganda would lead you to believe. Guess he really is Russian too, huh. Basically just a lot of death on both sides and the death will just continue until the sides decide to come to some type of diplomatic agreement. He starts at the 19:45 mark of the podcast and is very interesting.

I agree with this statement. The problem seems to be that Ukraine doesn't trust that Russia will honor the terms of any potential agreement.

I’m not the one pushing Russian propaganda on a Notre Fame football forum. Lol
Nothing I have shared is Russian "Propaganda". It is the facts of the situation. Both sides are wrong and have done horrendous acts. You all seem to only care about one side and believe all the western propaganda. I bring up the atrocities of the west and you all gaslight me and act like I am some foreign agent. I shared a podcast of an American Colonel and you call that Russian propganda. Do you not get the cognitive dissonance you are displaying.

No. Just my general observation from following the events. If I listen to the podcast will it dismiss that as a concern?
It possibly will. It may be able to alleviate your concerns and show you that the Russians have the same concerns as the Ukrainians, as always between 2 waring sides, its hard to trust each other. The Russian speaking people of Ukraine have been getting shelled and slaughtered by the more extreme elements in the Ukrainian armed forces. They have been set on fire and been tortured. From some reports Russians have also been doing that to Ukrainians. Again I want this whole situation over, but that will not happen if:

A. We deny the Western hands in the coup which set this whole situation in motion.
B. Act like Putin is some Dictator demagogue who rules Russia with an iron fist and if we just get rid of him the rest Russia will fall in line.
C. That short of western powers sending troops, Ukraine has no chance of winning this conflict., they don't have the population size to bring in the numbers of troops they will need.

Why would they? Why should they? Russia is the invader. Ukraine shouldn’t settle for anything less than their 2014 borders.

Until then let Ukraine keep the 6-1 ratio on equipment kills and bleed the shit pieces dry.

I wasn't implying that their concerns are unfounded. Just that it seems like it would be a big hurdle to clear in reaching a diplomatic agreement.

I gotta know did you feel this same way when the US invaded Vietnam, Panama, Granada, Afghanistan, Iraq? The US was the illegal invaders in all those instances. Were you on message boards preying those countries bleed "the shit pieces dry." or does your disdain for invaders only come up when you have been programed by the corporate media and western Intelligence propaganda to feel that way?

As the saying goes you don't make peace with your friends, you make peace with your enemies.

A diplomatic approach with Russia under these circumstances is appeasement. Plain and simple. Can’t let him get away with this. Belles that shit piece dry just like Reagan did.

So you trust Putin?

Why would they blow it up instead of turning it off? Simple, if they turn it off they look like the bad guys. If they secretly blow it up, they can blame the U.S. in hopes of creating some tension between NATO members.
Agreed. Don’t know if they did it or not. But certainly can’t say that the scenario laid out isn’t a realistic possibility.

I listen to the podcast. The Colonel sounds like a Russian shill. He even said his favorite color is red. Statements like Putin will unleash hell… sound very much like talking points.

I also struggle to see why Russia would blow up a pipeline that they control and could just shutdown if they choose. It takes away the option to restore flows easily post war. It does however shock Europe and make the West impatient going into Winter. I’m still not convinced Russia did it. Makes
more sense an anti German entity did or even the US if we’re putting white out on the mistake to allow the damn thing in the first place.

That said, it appears nobody knows who did it. Any theory, including Russia doing it is plausible. I wouldn’t accuse someone who suspects Russia of not thinking or call them names. Just saying.
