I'd rather see Kubrick, if I had to pick between the two (imo)Been watching the old Alfred Hitchcock TV shows. Dude was as good a director as there ever was. Would love to see him have the technology and special effects to work with that guys like Spielberg have had at their disposal.
The lighting in Eyes Wide Shut makes for some of the greatest visuals in film history… that opening party alone is ridiculousI'd rather see Kubrick, if I had to pick between the two (imo)
That labor scene was brutal. I’m not typically squeamish but I had to watch that through my fingers. Very promising start.I liked the start to House of Dragons.
Totally agreed. The scene prior between the two ultimately set that up.That labor scene was brutal. I’m not typically squeamish but I had to watch that through my fingers. Very promising start.
Two of the major cinemas are having a $3 ticket for Labor Day. Not sure if it's the entre weekend or just Labor Day.after saying was all summer that i was going to i finally went across my town tonight and saw top gun maverick and it blew me away. everybody has raved about it all over social all summer about how great it is and many saying better than the first and much to my surprise it is better than the first block buster smash hit. i want to go and see it a second time now but i'm not paying $19.44 for another ticket and a small popcorn again and so i'll wait for it to come to netflix or HBOmax or wherever it'll be shown at
Hulu Live or Youtube TV. YTV is cheaper if you are only getting it for football season (like $55 per month for first three months) but Hulu is like $70 for the package including ESPN+I'm in the market for the best TV streaming package for this Fall. Want the best college football package; soccer & NFL would be a nice bonus as well.
Any recommendations? Hulu Live seems to be good for CFB.

I really liked it, particularly hearing from LeBron, Carmelo, Wade and Boozer since they were holdovers from 2004. Most likely they don't win Gold in 2008 without him on that team. He really did set a standard for them after the 2002 FIBA nightmare and the 2004 Athens Olympics. The Redeem Team doc on Netflix. Man I miss Kobe, that dude was just different.

Yesterday the final episode of Legacy aired on Hulu and much of that was centered around Kobe's death coinciding with that Covid Bubble season and how that team dedicated a championship to him.
