Lots of people saying it’s Biden overseas. This clip is getting lots of air. Not sure why we would do it except to piss off Germany and Russia at one time, which… I would ponder.

Well, I would assume if the USA did it, it was a decision by the people that always correct Biden and let us know what he meant to say. I don’t get why Russia would do it, seeing how they can turn it off or not send gas. Not to mention, Russia is a little distracted and doesn’t benefit from this. I have to think the other target is the Germans. I wonder if it was a pro-Ukrainian move to dodge pressure from Germany in the winter to appease Russia for gas. Fascinating event.

Walked away from the big media personalities long ago. Far better info and perspective out there on all sides from everyday journalist and various independent news sites.

How in the world do we end up with such media coverage as MTG, Broebert (sp?), AOC and Ilhan Omar get? Not to pick on the U.S. as we are struck with Drama boy/Socks Trudeau. These certainly cannot be the best choices for leadership/democracy./representation Same thing in the media. Be offensive with limited facts and you are some sort of hero and mentor. Facebook, Twitter, et al are relied upon to bring news to the masses. They don't. It's unsettling that so many rely on these mediums for accuracy and truth.

I read Fox News AND CNN every morning. Fooled myself into thinking I could synthesize the news. They are both corrupt... but occasionally one is correct. Not news, just "entertainment" depending upon your political stance. What a hot mess in politics and the news... maybe more so in Canada.

Just imagine what that $1.1 billion could be spent on helping people secure clean water, clean healthy food, developing clean energy that doesn’t poison the environment, establishing affordable health care for all, but nope let’s spend it killing people in a war instigated over international politics. What makes you think the money would have been spent on that? At least now we know the money is being spent on defending a country that wouldn't be able to otherwise and saving countless innocent lives.

Putin is having his sham ceremony claiming annexed regions for Russia. Reports say the "vote" by citizens was 80% in favor when polls showed the number of people in favor was around 20%. Voting was done door to door with military standing behind the person taking the votes.

Swedish Coast Guard also found an underwater vehicle near the damaged pipeline. Sweden says it's not theirs while two Russian ships were spotted in the area before the leaks were discovered.

This war is going to escalate in the near future. Need to find a way to take Putin out before it does.

Are you kidding me, there was a deal that was struck way before this invasion between Zelensky and Putin. The west(Johnson and Biden) shot it down. There could peace tomorrow, but now Ukraine has to accept the break away/occupied regions are no longer Ukraine and never will be again. The only other options are continued death and destruction and the possible annihilation of the human race, but let's keep playing this game and see where it takes us. I don't get how many people in the US dont get how serious Russia, not Putin, Russia is about not having Ukraine join a hostile military alliance. I mean its like people forget how the US reacted to the Cuba situation and are shocked that Russia is reacting similarly when the country the US would put nukes in is right on their border. Its like no one has any critical thinking skills at all.

Can you give me a link. I'd like to learn more about this. I did a bunch of Google searches and came up empty with the exception of some kind of provisional deal that Putin rejected.

Did I watch this on Shark Tank? Zelensky got an offer from Putin and then decided to take the one from Biden?
