Freeman gotta go all in on getting Brian Hartline next year after Tommy goes to the LA Rams, i can't see any other logical options

Has Hartline ever called plays before? Then again, it might not matter if he can help land 5* WR after 5* WR.

ND isn't touching anybody with ties to that Baylor scandal and Art Briles.

And Lebby is an OU grad. Why would he leave his alma-mater for a lateral move?

No way in hell Freeman can risk hiring an OC who has never called a play at this level before. None. Zilch. That is a move only a HC as tenured and win-cache'd as Kelly could have gotten away with.

Not to mention BK was an offensive-minded coach. Freeman needs an experienced, pro OC. Let the other guys flash on the recruiting trail.

Lyons wrapped up visit late into Sunday. Now we wait, up in the air if he visits elsewhere still.

Love wrapped up A&M visit. Something should come in the next few weeks.

But the reality is that Hartline has a far better chance of landing 5 star WRs at OSU under Ryan Day's explosive offense - and he knows it. The 2 top offensive minds in today's CF are Lincoln Riley and Ryan Day who was a QB coach in the NFL. He is somewhat wealthy as I've read that he's made wise investments with the millions he made in the NFL and basically has no desire to leave OSU - his alma mater. Plus, OSU just gave him a monster raise before the start of the 2022 football season
