Did Colzie or Merriweather even play?
Or if Notre Dame had a different and more experienced offensive coordinator we win that game.Tommy Rees is Jim Knowles' bitch, plain and simple. If Knowles doesn't join the Fuckeyes we may win this game

Which Y? Need to get my itinerary right.Hey fight me at a YMCA! Or whatever INLaw said lol
Shhhhhhhhhh. Wrong speak. Blame the oline, nothing else.Or if Notre Dame had a different and more experienced offensive coordinator we win that game.
People used to dump on Kelly for holding the offense back while we now know it’s Tommy that’s holding the offense back
After sleeping on it — no snap judgments until we see if they can fix the OL. The OL was just so bad I don’t know how you evaluate the other players.
I was very confident in Alt, Fisher, and Patterson. I was a skeptic on Correll and Lugg is who he is. Without Patterson you basically have two good bookends with three guys in the middle who can’t get any push in the run game and just ole most interior pass rushers. Need to move Patterson back to center and then trial Kristofic/Spindler/freshmen until you find who works. If we can’t run the ball, then we are screwed because Buchner has a 0% chance of winning games chucking it all over the field like Tommy would do with Coan or another real pocket passer. ND is a 6-8 win team if they can’t run the ball.
Yep... what really hurt was the 3rd down conversions. The Irish pretty much matched YPP last night. Also, not enough outs and slants that should have come later in the third and in the fourth quarters. The pressure was on throughout the 2nd half. Rees should have shortened up the routes and run a couple of draws/screens to relieve the pressure. After sleeping on it — no snap judgments until we see if they can fix the OL. The one play that sticks out is Sawyer (maybe Eichenberg) came screaming up the middle untouched while Lugg double teamed with Fisher. Buchner still in his drop when he gets crushed. The worst of it was Lugg’s back was nearly showing to the gaping hole that was left so he never even attempted to put a hand up. I’m not even sure he saw him on what looked to be a pretty simple blitz. After sleeping on it — no snap judgments until we see if they can fix the OL. Outside of no screens I think Tommy called what he did because of the O line play, particularly the middle. Patterson was sorely missed. Maybe Lugg plays better with Patterson next to him? Lugg let two guys come through pretty much untouched. Moving Patterson back to C might be needed. The play calling was sad.. we weren’t establishing a run until TB proved he could throw the ball & our OL wasn’t giving him time.
So instead of throwing screens or quick outs/slants we try QB runs.. We needed to establish a passing game to open up the run..
I felt exactly this way last night. The tackles were fine—Blake was a little Rusty—but the interior OL was abysmal. After sleeping on it — no snap judgments until we see if they can fix the OL. The OL was just so bad I don’t know how you evaluate the other players.

The traditional Y for ie battling is Irsay we were told but also most of us including myself don’t know where that is. I am assuming indy areaWhich Y? Need to get my itinerary right.
Yeah gonna be like last year where amazing offensive improvement 100% correlates to shit defenses. Until clemson timeIt’ll look fixed vs Marshall. Our schedule is pretty much crap until November 5 with the exception of a mediocre BYU
Yep, at least arm punt it there and pray for a PI.3rd & 16 & we’re running a QB draw give up play,. It was stuff like that all night.
Not one single offensive drive looked commanding.
alright. I’m taking my drunk ass to bed.
A little surprised teams don’t have “PI” play in their book. Maybe some do but definitely one where it’s ‘go long’ and the WRs job is to draw the PI.Yep, at least arm punt it there and pray for a PI.

Sounds about right. He can only work with what he's got. As long as he gets some talent in, he gets a pass for this group. My opinionSo we giving Stuckey a pass bc the OL is weak and most of the receivers who played aren’t that good?

With the current players. He better keep the committed talent though.Stuckey gets a pass this whole year as far as im concerned
Neither of which are his fault. So we giving Stuckey a pass bc the OL is weak and most of the receivers who played aren’t that good?
It’s probably not Stuckey’s fault but that play at the end of the 2nd Quarter when Buchner threw deep down the sideline but Lenzy ran a comeback was oof. That was our shot and if they connect it might’ve been points.Sounds about right. He can only work with what he's got. As long as he gets some talent in, he gets a pass for this group. My opinion
Not saying he’s the difference between winning and losing this game but this is the type of game Avery Davis was missed. It’s probably not Stuckey’s fault but that play at the end of the 2nd Quarter when Buchner threw deep down the sideline but Lenzy ran a comeback was oof. I’m so there. Let’s do this.Which Y? Need to get my itinerary right.
I’d like to see some improvement among the receivers, especially since Del was so lacking in developing receiver skills. I get that it isn’t all going to happen by week one, though. The players aren’t world beaters but they can become more effective, it’s not like we don’t have 2020 level players on the roster right now.Stuckey gets a pass this whole year as far as im concerned
"At this level"Kinda beginning to look like correll can’t play at this level and his holding up against bama in the covid season was a mirage
Matt Salerno caught a 29 yard pass in a tight game at OSU. Improvement level achieved.I’d like to see some improvement among the receivers, especially since Del was so lacking in developing receiver skills. Every team in the playoffs will be 'at this level'."At this level"
Well, most front 7s aren't at this level.
I agree he may not be tier 1 level, but I'm confident he'll have a good year. Especially if Patterson is next to him
