I was trying to work out where Styles came into this.Style yes, he doesn’t have either of their high level athleticism, especially claypool

In looking at Claypool's stats his Freshman, Soph. Junior years.Style yes, he doesn’t have either of their high level athleticism, especially claypool
You bring up my frustration with Kelly. Claypool broke out his soph year vs wake, and was the best WR on the team, kelly didn't take advantage of it. He also put claypool on the field side exclusively soph/jr year and book wasn't capable of throwing to the field with any form of velocity. In looking at Claypool's stats his Freshman, Soph. 84 Receptions, 1100 YDS, 6 TDs Total
I agree that Claypool was more athletic, but he didn't breakout until his senior year.
I believe Greathouse is way more polished and won't have a hard time eclipsing those numbers. Greathouse is a big time get.
All I remember is two playoffs and a title game. If Freeman does better we’ll be very relevant. You bring up my frustration with Kelly. Claypool has 9 receptions and 180 yds vs wake then has 7 targets the rest of the season. SO stupid "traits" issues. Kelly played favorites no doubt about it vs the best players. Yes you have to practice good, but it was coming out claypool was dominating at times his frosh year in practice.
In reality, it wasn't until halfway through claypools sr year that Kelly and team realized claypool was bigger, stronger, faster than every one they went against and to just throw it up to him.
Regarding greathouse, yes he's more polished as a WR, but the bigger factor is freeman i truly believe will get the best players on the field no matter age and won't have so many "traits" needed to get on the field (other than obvious ones). WIth that said, if lewis starts and betrand plays big minutes say over kollie I may re think about that comment.
I think i would respectfully disagree about his ceiling. I could see him turning into an Anquan Bolden type receiver. Big, physical, sure handed and able to bully smaller DBs with his physical stature and route running. He might not be the kid of dude who is going to take the top of a defense and give you 6 from 80 yds out, but he’s death by 1,000 needles and the kid of dude that by the end of the game a DB is just tired of trying to cover and tackle.
I’ve tried to think of a good comp but come up dry. Greathouse is a unicorn of sorts. He’s been coached at the highest level and already 215 pounds for someone 6’1/6’2 is just not a common combo. Floyd I think was too lanky and athletic to compare. Claypool no. Anquan Boldin was a decent end comp, though I have no idea what level of development he was at out of HS.

Agree other than James isn’t claypool level size or athleticism but still very goodComparing Floyd and Claypool is quite weird. One was game 1 ready talent, the other a freak athlete project.
With that said, Greathouse does remind me of Floyd some. He's polished for his age, not a freak athlete, but deceptively athletic and is going to get the ball in his hands and move the chains. A great #1 target, and more importantly, and early contributer.
Braylon James is the "Claypool" of this class imo (although already more polished than chase out Canada)
I’m hoping for arrelious bennI’ve tried to think of a good comp but come up dry. Greathouse is a unicorn of sorts. There's some recruiting PTSD...I’m hoping for arrelious benn
Please ban this person.I’m hoping for arrelious benn
So does Ronan Hanafin. They should both just commit. He sounds like a Game of Thrones character
Maybe with a side of Deonte Greenberry?I’m hoping for arrelious benn

Deleted, Master.
This is one i'm shocked we were able to close, especially following Arch to Texas.
Absolutely insane we have 3 four star WR commits without a QB. Give Chansi a raise.
