If we don't land Moore I'd like to see us use that scholarship on another WR

Still a good defensive class if OSU wins out on this one (seems like they will).

If ND would've brought in a WR from the transfer portal I think they would've done it by now and I still think they shouldn't. They have a good mix of young talent & guys who have been in the program. If the PT is there and I think it is for the younger guys throw them into the fire. I think IE is underestimating what our younger talent can do when given the opportunity; this of course if the WR group is injury free.

I was very hopeful here. But one thing to remebemer Dematha football players very rarely choose academic schools.

To be fair, his old brother Justin who also went to Demantha chose Villanova, another catholic school with strong academics - I don't think the high academic nature of ND pushed Jason away.

One position I am not worried about is DL, but I wish he hadnt gone to OSU. They are stockpiling talent like Bama and UGA.
Wish we would have gotten this kid, or he had chosen PSU but we have a great DL class this year and more on the way next year. Justin Scott, Nigel Smith and a pure edge guy to go with the 2 we already have on board would be nuts.

Chase Young went to DeMatha, the new assistant DL coach is from DC and Johnson coached for a long time in DC. Was unaware of the relationship with this assistant DL coach till now:

“I’ve known Cam Spence since I was about 3 or 4 years old when he used to play AAU basketball with my older brother. Our families are very close and he’s like another big brother to me so having him out there to support me definitely helps.”

That kind of relationship is surely tough to overcome…….

We aren’t sitting great up the middle depth wise… not bad but not great

Damn. MFMF is a failure. We should all move to the Coaching Carousel thread.
We have a really good class, but let’s not pretend it’s A&Ms last year or some of the Clemson bama Ohio state classes

We are landing All of our plan Bs and that’s awesome, but need more plan As to be on a level playing field with the top

Everyone’s like “no big deal missing on moore, our class is amazing”

Really good class, need a few more with even more top end talent …. Moore moore Tate, Nelson, mpemba, proctor, downs… finishing 2nd in a lot of big recruitments for top talent and option 1

The 23 wrs are going to have to step up next year

I don’t see this class taking us over the top at skill positions

Yeah we didn’t land the entire Top 10 of the recruiting rankings, shut it down. Nelson? As in Malachi Nelson? Really?
