Think this was about Paige. The next tweet on his timeline is an RT of Paige's commitment tweet.
Paige committed almost 3 hours before that.
Seems weird Washington would tweet that.
I guess I’m wishful thinking.

Note: Driskell wrote an article about what a Jason Moore commitment would mean for ND a couple hours ago.
Only one he has done for the uncommitted recruits visiting this weekend.

I hope I'm wrong on this one

Loy said he’d have at least 1 new crystal ball from the weekend visitors today.

Came into the weekend already with one on Jason Moore and Christian Gray.

Singer’s Gold Standard from the weekend.

Some good info but these really are just super predictable now to be honest haha. It’s basically a Gug is confident special like a mentioned a few weeks back.

Loy says that he has us landing: Hanafin, Gray, Ausberry, Jason Moore, and Flores. Also continues to say that Carr is keeping the reclassify option on the table. (IMO he does it if Moore goes elsewhere, stays in 24 if Moore wants in at ND).

If true, that has to be our best case scenario right now, yes? Carr reclassifies to '23, Sayin commits early to lead the '24 class, and we avoid all the drama with the Moores going forward.

I would love for Carr to reclassify but the problem is that there's no way he could have a definitively positive answer about that this far out could he? And if ND is going to go after a '23 guy who isn't Moore then they need to get in gear yesterday.

Seems like it. But, if Moore calls up Rees/Freeman and wants in the class.....gotta take him.

That's my concern, but if he got the green light from ND after his academic meetings this weekend, then maybe it is really just a question of what Moore does?

It's been said that Carr is taking summer classes right now to leave the door open. Believe it was Sampson who said it but can't remember.

My concern is that leaving the door open creates a significant chance that admissions decides not to take that leap and ND is effectively taking no quarterback in 2023.

Maybe that's a more reasonable approach in the transfer era but you are also courting a ton of risk in the event of injuries. IDK, maybe I'm wrong to simply write Powlus off as even a depth piece.

Moore/Carr is an equally good outcome IMO.

This is best case scenario here. It shows that Carr is doing whatever he needs to do to help ND get the best players. He knows it's Moore or bust for '23. Now, it's "If not Moore '23, then Carr '23. Focus on '24" It sounds like he wants two five star QBs for ND in '23 and '24 and that's amazing.

Meh. I don't think he's a fit, I wonder if he ever was. Would much rather have Carr for next season and maybe Sayin after.

Driskell said he was told that the staff still wants Dante. He and Loy have said they expect Dante to wind up in the class if the staff still pushes for him.

Driskell said on his show that he only thinks there will be one “public” commit from the ‘23 class in June from the weekend.
Said most kids have scheduled announcements in July, so even if they committed it wouldn’t be public.
Said if you count ‘24 kids then there could be a 2nd in June.
So I’m taking that to mean Hanafin and a ‘24 kid in June, then Gray in July. Flores is up in the air until we know about the OSU visit.

Everyone expecting a rainstorm of public commits soon after the weekend visits will be upset.

I don't mean a fit from a class numbers/makeup perspective. I just wonder if he's even a fit from a cultural level. If all this NIL talk is to be believed the kid is more interested in chasing the bag than his future. I think he's a pass and won't work out even if he does get to campus.

Sounds a bit like last year. June seemed a bit disappointing relative to the hype, but by July/August things were looking much nicer.
