Hopefully the staff can butter him up……..

I wondered the same thing elsewhere & got hammered. So am I going to be in trouble for saying this is the Kelly/Elston aisle and not MF/Washington aisle...
I would want more vypers than these bigger hybrids. Scott, 2 vypers, and the current commit. Waggle seems redundantI wondered the same thing elsewhere & got hammered.
With Swain already a commit & ND showing the ability to recruit elite DL now, I’m not sure if it’s a good idea taking this commitment this far out.
ND could probably recruit all top 50-100 DL in the ‘24 class. If they push & get Justin Scott, they would already have three DL commits.
Implying Wafle isn’t a elite DL? I disagree.I wondered the same thing elsewhere & got hammered.

By the time this kid enrolls, there might not even be scholarship limits to worry about anymore.I wondered the same thing elsewhere & got hammered.

He’s not elite.
In the ‘23 class of Keeley, Vernon, Traore, Houstan & we will say Moore…who do you think Wafle is better than?
I don’t think any of them.
It’s not mutually exclusive. Houstan and Vernon are the only two on that list that could play inside in a similar fashion to Wafle. I think Wafle is on par as a Top 100 - 200 prospect with both, especially if he grows and his freaky measurables continue to hold.I think he is good.

But what about Brandon Davis-Swain? He is kind of in the same mold...It’s not mutually exclusive. The biggest jump in development in HS is from your Soph. season to ones JR. season. So if you're going to compare Wafle(WAY-FULL) to those guys do it to there Soph. tape and not what they did last season. Using that criteria only Vernon and Moore would rank ahead of him.I think he is good.

IMO he's extremely similar to Traore. I don't think he's in the same mold BDS. Waffle might be listed as an Edge but he's an interior prospect that in ND's system he's a fit at 3T as well as at Nose. But what about Brandon Davis-Swain? He is kind of in the same mold...
Getting solid low 4 star guys early that are very likely to stick allows you to swing for the fences to round out the class. Let’s not pretend Wafle is Donovan Hinish either here.

Agree with Ricochet. Davis-Swain is in this line of SDE/3 Tech depending how the develop like Mills, Ford, Traore, (and Jason Moore). Wafle would be exclusively insideIMO he's extremely similar to Traore. I don't think he's in the same mold BDS. Love it. Think it’s a perfect strategy.
Agreed. Wafle moves pretty well for a kid his size. He actually reminds a lot of what I thought Hunter Spears could've been if hadn't gotten injured. Quick first step and has good leverage.Getting solid low 4 star guys early that are very likely to stick allows you to swing for the fences to round out the class.
