Back to the topic.

It seems that Gray loves ND. But there is the Robert Steeples factor. Gray was just rising while Steeples was in charge at DeSmet.

And the stories on Gray mentioned his mom, but lesser or no mention of a dad. The 64 K question is how much trust Christian and his mom have in Steeples. IF they regard Steeples as a father or uncle figure, and if they have consummate trust in Robert to guide Christian through four years in Baton Rouge, that may be a solid decision for both the kid and the mom.

Trust matters.

I have consummate respect for Nick Saban.
His faith is solid.
And he is a committed monogamist.
He speaks rarely, but with affection and respect, of his wife.

Like Christ, I have no use, none, for divorced people.
Hold up...what happened to the self righteousness and not casting stones???

By the way, as of 3 days ago, LSU's 247 guys believe LSU trails ND.
The On3 LSU mod is pretty confident that LSU eventually lands him.
He kind of hints that even if not at first, he feels Gray will eventually sign with LSU.
Says his insiders who are usually correct have told him this.

We'll see who's right I suppose. Loy and Trieu also believe ND leads.

The On3 guy said something about ND probably leads now, but that things are trending towards LSU. Also said that LSU was working on changing his July 4th timeline.

Singer also saying that he's sticking with ND for Gray. Says he's a bit worried about LSU.

I don’t want to rain on anyone’s Easter Parade, but we have a thread to discuss all things religion.

So take the knuckle dragging there and leave the football threads alone.

Man, never thought I'd actually type THAT one day.

Fong saying he’s hearing a lot of positives for LSU while Gray is there this weekend. Telling that he chose their spring game over ND’s. ND needs to expand the board I think.

LSU is chipping away but says any report of a silent commitment to them is incorrect

Got to be tough to look your former HS coach in the eye (now at DBU) and say No.

make the Shamrock Series jersey from the 2021 Wisky game the default home uniforms
That's a hot take, but I agree with it.

ND jersey classicists will fight to the death about it... but I was rewatching highlights the other night, and those jerseys looked like they belonged, and not just as a one-off. They spiced up the uniform just a bit, but not enough to shit on the idea of 'tradition' imo.

I'd be totally fine with it, though it would never happen.
