I spoke several months ago to someone with ties to the San Juan Hills program when I saw Weston's thread pop up at IE. They said he is the real deal. Were very impressed with how aggressive he played as a freshman. This person felt Weston is ahead of where Sean Rhyan (UCLA (ND offer) and projected top 3 round pick in this year's NFL Draft) at this point in his career. SJH is still relatively new school but building a nice little program and putting kids in D1 programs. These SJH kids in the past were going to J Serra or San Clemente.

To Bobby Mac's credit, the person I spoke with was saying Weston's recruitment was starting to blow up with a Georgia offer and they forwarded me B Mac's ND tweet regarding Weston as more proof.

Weston was just named a 4 by 247sports and made their top 100 for 2025s. He was also named pre-season 1st team all american by maxpreps for sophomores. Good luck this week!

We just got a camp/spring practice invite from Coach Golden right after we set our schedule for the spring. Sounds like they're wanting to see Weston "in space" more before they offer, so we might wait to visit again once they see what they need to see to make him an offer.

Thanks for the update brother. Safe travels this summer and I look forward to catching an SJH game in OC this fall... hopefully a rematch with SM if that's on the schedule.
