I think you need 5 on the roster coming into spring ball in case you get a transfer because you need *at least* 4 healthy backs on the roster in the fall.

Caleb Williams to SC was supposed to be a slam dunk, especially now that Mario Williams has committed.

But if he really wants to move close to home, I cant help but think he would have to give Georgia a good look. I get the Lincoln Riley appeal, but there is absolutely no comparison between SC and UGA in terms of the state of the program or even exposure and potential NIL money coming off a championship.

I havent followed him closely but I thought he was pretty good at Georgia in 2020?

He was fantastic. And wasn't bad this year either. He had a couple of injuries that certainly left him less than 100%, then georgia kind of rode the hot hand with Bennett.

I don't quite understand this move. He's gotta have the edge to start there next year, with tons of talent around him.

I think ND should definitely kick the tires on this. Especially with him being a grad transfer and having an easier path in to the school, and only one year of him (if it ends up being bad for the team for some reason). At the least, it seems like it would be great motivation and competition for TB, and by all accounts, he was said to be a good teammate at georgia. The only downside with competing for the job and with TB is that it looks like he won't arrive until the summer.

I got a little excited when I saw Cota mentioned. Looked him up and, in 4 years, had 67 catches for 883 yds and 6 TD's. His catches, by year, were: 13, 25, 11, and 18. After seeing that, I think ND should pass.
