Has Rees been confirmed as OC next season? We just need experience in the coaching ranks somewhere.

This game is primarily on the coaching staff IMO. They did not have the team properly prepared and did not make the adjustments needed. Players made some mistakes, but the responsibility to put them in position to be successful is squarely on the coaches. MF has his work cut out for him going forward and will need to step up to right the ship.

Every throw thrown to any WR other than Styles today was a blunder. He is easily the best WR. Always open when the others never seem to be.

Overall, I think everyone needs to chill. Would have been great to Win this game, ofcourse. We came out of the gates on fire. Hopefully Freeman and everyone learns from it. It’s the fiesta bowl non playoff game. Sucks to lose would have been good momentum for recruits and spring ball but it isn’t the end of the world. In a good position to learn from a loss with minimal consequences. That’s how I’m feeling about it, those who want to jump off a building would do so no matter what. Frustrating the way the game played out but whatever build toward next year.

BK is a genius for getting out, he had to have known that this program has hit its ceiling.

For depth I hope Lenzy stays but can we please get his replacement? Dude has been the weakest WR since he stepped on campus. Can only beat you with speed, horrible route running and horrible hands. Never catches a contested ball.

Not understanding that 500+ yards and 28 points is more than enough offense shows me that you don’t pay attention to college football and don’t understand how good Oklahoma State’s defense is.

Very true, but you can't have it all in the first half and get nothing in the second when your defense can use the break.

And forcing 3 and outs shows you don't understand situational football and how adjustments are made (or not made). Forcing Coan to go 3 and out all half only to gas our defense against an offense with a pulse is a madman's guide to losing a 28-7 lead.

They got dominated for a full half. I have no idea why you are giving them a pass. Freeman said at halftime "it's 0-0." Clearly the offense did not listen.

On side kicks are low percentage but ND couldn’t even do that right today… ball went 7 yards
