Tommy Rees/Jack Coan are the worst 2nd half combo in CFB. Been absolutely abysmal all year unless Buchner comes in.

Rees forcing Coan all 2nd half for 3 and outs or turnovers is both not surprising and completely ridiculous. We'd be murdering their defense if Buchner was in running an actual RPO.

What a miserable experience being a ND fan has been in this era,… nothing but cartoon loses and heartbreak in every meaningful game for a quarter plus century,… maybe they shouldn’t have blocked touchdown Jesus? This one really hurts as this game was over and so was the NY6 bowl loss streak.

This defense has thrown in the towel.

When you are on the field the entire 2nd half because the offense is completely inept at anticipating inevitable adjustments, this will happen to any defense. Also our LB's are below average and that won't change next year.
