I know. It doesn't matter. If he gets a day 2 grade or better he gone. No matter how many pass rushers are in a draft class they will always get pushed higher than they should get drafted. Example is Jayson Oweh...
Oweh and Foskey are somewhat opposite ends and not sure if that proves the point. This convo has begun based off production. Oweh had none but had a high grade. If Foskey gets a high grade on top or production then great for him. But there’s a equal chance those with much lower production, like a Oweh, grade out higher than Foskey, an incentive for him to then stay
My point was that pass rushers get pushed higher in the draft than where they actually should go. And Jayson Oweh is a prime example of that. Which intern means Foskey and all the other pass rushers in the draft will go higher than where they are graded out.

Teams will always overreach for end rushers. Colts took Paye at #21 and his production wasn't there in college. Ballard is banking on his potential.
I also wonder if the advisory board takes into account the rest of the edge rushers in the class. He could grade out as a first round pick, but so could 6 other guys (guessing) and he could get pushed.

not what you want to hear if you had designs on foskey returning to ND in 2022..
Why? That’s a reflection of the QB class and top top of the board (Parsons, Sewell etc vs Thibodeaux) which Foskey is neither
trickle down effect. in general the 2022 draft class is weaker and thus more underclassmen are likely to declare. Foskey might have been a 3rd rounder in the 2021 class but maybe a high 2nd rounder in 2022 is my point
I'm thinking he might be playing himself into an early entry NFL draft pick.
I've largely stayed out of this debate but he's a 6'5 260 prototype "Edge" who's a former HS and P5 offered TE (excellent movement skills) that now has 9 sacks, 8.5 TFL's, and 5 FF's in his last 11 games. All while not being on the LOS a fairly significant amount of time. Smart NFL money will take notice of that.
He's a lock for the top 100. He's a lock for a 1M signing bonus and a 5M contract. That's really hard to say no too for a guy that probably has a lot of confidence in his process.

The Anderson situation makes ND's chances of keeping Foskey for his 4th year less likely.
Adam Anderson? How?...
Is Foskey planning to be caught up in a sexual assault allegation?
I assume the implication being Anderson would have clearly gone before Foskey and now will not.
It's a pretty piss poor implication.
