ESPN Source: Multiple suspensions likely for Music City Bowl, plus 3 games in 2008
As many as 20 Florida State football players will be suspended from playing against Kentucky in the Dec. 31 Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, as well as the first three games of the 2008 season, for their roles in an alleged cheating scandal involving an Internet-based course, a source with knowledge of the situation said Tuesday morning.

Florida State officials are expected to announce the results of the investigation this week.

Maybe they cheated to get caught because they didn't want to play in the 'Gaylord Hotels' Bowl...just a thought

FSU is / has been a total disgrace.

Prior to 1993 I used to feel sorry for them a bit....I actually wanted them to beat "da U criminals" in those 80's games that they always found ways to lose on FG attempts....but after the larcency of '93, I have held them in a special place of contempt with a select population....scUM, BC, da U and Free Shoes U...

The fact that Bowden is even still employeed is replusive. Of course, when your school's most famous alums are Burt Reynolds and the slut-whore cowgirls, I can't imagine there is much outrage over the university's academic integrity. I feel bad for the professors and grad students there more than anything else....their work and degrees are devalued severely by this kind of blatant malfesence.
