I really think Angeli is being severely overlooked here. Look at what he's done so far this season. I'm glad we have him and don't think he's a waste at all.

I was going to post this earlier. If ND truly has such a large lead, maybe they can get him with another one of these guys. It’s probably hard to do but worth a shot. As long as you have the conversations before anybody commits.

Yeah, we could tell this guy to look to the other Avery QB on our roster.
At worst you can switch to WR if you want.

We've done this like 3 times over the past 10 years on this board and never learn. I fully expect Angeli to be a three year starter a la Rees and Book.

I'm all for Avery being in the fold, but don't mistake that Salina South game for anything impressive. My local High School (Derby HS) just trounced Salina South 77-7, and it was 70-0 at halftime with a running clock from halfway through the 2nd quarter, and they only ran 33 plays vs Salina Souths 63 plays.

I like a QB that can be a run threat. Moore and Johnson fit this to a T. Arnold can move chains, and CV can huck it, but IMO the RPO game goes away. Johnson has always been my 1A or 1B with Moore.

Good. They absolutely should. No reason to not keep fighting until they get told hard no's from all 3. If we reach that point, take Johnson + insert high floor pocket passer that emerges from the camp circuits + senior year film evals.

It's so predictable, we will miss out on the big 3 and then ramp up our pursuit of Avery, and at that point he'll be down to two schools with one really standing out. And it'd be a school we beat out 9/10 times, but too much relationship will have formed by then.
