How do you feel about voting for candidates who support abortion?
Bishop2b5, I am going to answer your question, but it will take a few posts. I am going to try to break it down issue by issue, and there are many issues involved here.
We seemed to have a civil dialogue on voting for adulterers or not, perhaps we might again.
But at the end if YOUR CONSCIENCE mandates that you call me a hypocrite, then, indeed, "for Christ's sake" (and here it is not a curse, but a mandate) then I am more than comfortable when someone speaks their conscience.
First issue is Abortion
It is infanticide, and if it is not, it is fetuscide.
For me, so endeth the debate.
That to me is a no-brainer.
Second issue is freedom of religion
The question is both non-frivolous confrontational.
Did John the Baptizer have Freedom of religion?
Did Christ have Freedom of religion
Third issue is separation of Church and State
Asked and answered, FOR ME, when Christ used the Denarius as a teaching tool.
Christ told Pilate, in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that his Kingdom is not of this world.
FOURTH is America's blasphemy.

Of all the BS that America pulls nothing, not ONE THING pissed me off like the currency and its lying motto.

That is blasphemy
and as some of my brothers and sisters in Christ who do street ministry say

If Truth in Labeling applied to printing currency, then the

It goes back to middle America fetishing about Monroe, Taylor, Sinatra back into the 50's

I was having a football discussion about the Ravens' defensive tradition with a dear friend, and i mentioned that Ray Lewis, perhaps one of the five great defenders of the modern era, while he may or may not have been an accessory before and after the fact to homicide, established a defensive standard in Baltimore. My friend retorted that Lewis had four different children by four different women. But did not the 45th president have children by three different women and is he not a public and incontrovertible whoremonger?
Sexual frenzy, sexual permissiveness bring with them some things.
