No. I assume he said "I'm shit." Because, he's shit.

No.. this is what he said:
Alexander-Arnold has now admitted he struggled to adapt to the new position, telling talkSPORT: "It’s a new role for me, a bit different, I think there’s been a lot of questions being asked whether I can or cannot play in there and a lot of opinions being voiced over the last few weeks.

“It was an experiment the manager wanted to try out, but it was difficult to get on the ball for me, I found it a lot more difficult to get on the ball in those spaces, but whether I’m starting in there or starting right back I think naturally I just find myself drifting into midfield, getting the ball and affecting the game.

“The second half we changed the system a little bit and I was able to find a lot more space and get time on the ball and get in positions that were fairly similar to playing in midfield anyway.”

Here is Hendersons take:
“Trent did some good things. Obviously it was his first time really in that position so he’s learning all the time, it’s a new experience for him. He did really well.”

“We changed personnel a little bit in the second half but it is a great experience for him. Going forward it is a possibility for him and the manager will think that’s good for him.

“But at the minute he is so good at right-back, especially at club level, that I don’t see that changing in the near future.

“But it’s good the gaffer here is looking at it to see what he can add – you have to be very talented to play in any position – but for me, he is so good at the right-hand side delivering crosses that he should stick to that for the time being.”

Keep in mind this happened against Andora... relative European minnows.

The USA needs to switch coaches if we lose this game. We cannot miss the World Cup again without throwing the kitchen sink at qualifying. Unbelievable

Team looks awful. Getting dominated by a squad that wouldn’t have a single player in our 23 man roster. Never understood all the Gregg Berhalter hate until this WCQ window. Team is unimaginative and unmotivated to its core. Amazing they were able to win two trophies in the summer. As a result, it’ll be tough to sack berhalter for this window, but I don’t think they qualify with him at helm.

He has to go. Now. Can’t wait for the next window IMO. If we only get 2 points from 3 games this window that’s a hell of a mountain to climb.

9 points is a must in October from 3 very winnable matches with 2 home games against Jamaica and Costa Rica and an away game against Panama. Hopefully Gio is healthy and need McKennie. Pepi has earned the 9 over Sargent IMO. RW seems to be a weakness. If healthy maybe try Dest there?

Pepi is so hot right now and I agree with on Seargent. He does nothing, is sloppy in possession and isn’t offering much more than a door stop does.

The fact that if Pepi didn't show out how he did, I was ready to clamor for Altidore says all you need to know about the doorstops that have been playing up top. I'd be interested in a Gio experiment up there, but for now Pepi has earned it.

BTW, what the hell happened to JAB?? I haven't been able to watch him at the club level in a couple years now, has he been this bad there too?? Either way, the last handful of USMNT matches he's played in he has been, by far, the worst player on the field each time. It looks like he has lost all desire to give even minimal effort for the national team.... It's shocking to watch.

He's been bad for 135 minutes, and it's a concern considering he is their best center half by a longshot and is playing next to a kid.

I don't know what the story is. Injury that isn't disclosed maybe? I know a lot of players didn't want to have this International Break at this point and time. Hard to tell where a lot of them are mentally with it. It will be interesting to see what his form looks like for Wolfsburg. They've won 3 of 3 and are top of the table in the Bundesliga.

I'm glad it's fucking over regardless.

Do the subs mean he started the wrong 11? I think so.

Still, thank goodness.

More than the players (and I'm not really arguing that point) it was the formation switch to me... they couldn't control the ball for more than a few seconds at a time with that minimal midfielder set that had in the first half.

One day Gregg will stop playing Adams out of position. Playing him at RWB completely wastes him... He is immense in the CM and absolutely changed the game once he was moved their in the second 45. I like Sands. I like Acosta. Playing them there while playing Adams out of position is inexcusable when you have a more than capable RWB in Yedlin on the bench.

Robinson at LB in the second 45 and Adams moving centrally is what saved the day, outside of Pepi being glorious.

I thought so too. Ultimately, the guys he brought on played the main roles in the victory.

Adams should always be in the middle. I don't think there is a debate here any longer, nor should there be. Too much space between Brooks and Pepi too. 40-50 yards of gaps with no one there to fill them. That's nuts.

At any rate, anyone that is thinking USMNT should go after Jesse Marsch is crazy if they think he's giving up that gig at RB Leipzig. Just not happening.

Im a realist in the (this) moment,… but I was super on board with Marsch when the gig was open. Still say it’d have been nice,… I’m not one that is/has piled on GB either for the record. I thought the hire was underwhelming but was more than willing to give it time

The 5-2-3 was just plain dumb because it could have allowed the two wingbacks to play up the field but there wasn’t any connection to MF. Back line to front line then TO. Terrible set up

The job will be Marsch's some day, but he has plenty to accomplish in Europe first.

Does he want it is the question. His opportunities in club football are only going to get better the more he succeeds. Imagine him heading up a club in the Premier League or Bundesliga. It's a massive achievement for an American. His trajectory seems to be headed in that direction, not manager of the USMNT.

I think he knows his current future is definitely in Europe and if he leaves that now or even two years from now to coach the US, those opportunities might not pop up again. I don't think Marsch coaching the US is an imminent thing by any means, and I doubt he will even follow Berhalter. But if I could bet it, I would bet that Marsch will coach the US sometime after the 2026 World Cup. He's 47 so plenty of time. Former national team member, assistant coach, admitted die hard fan. He checks all the boxes.

Ronaldo is back!!!!

Don't worry, our defense is still very suspect and prone to stupid shit from time to time.

Elliott out with a gruesome injury. Liverpool has no luck with injuries lately.
