His GRCC squad take on the Frankenmuth Eagles in the Division 5 MHSAA state final this Saturday. It will be the Eagles first ever state title game.

Frankenmuth is famous for being Michigan's German town. The area was settled and named by conservative Lutheran immigrants from Roßtal area of Franconia in Germany.[10] The group of settlers left Germany aboard the Caroline on April 20, 1845, and arrived at Castle Garden in New York seven weeks later. They traveled via canals and the Great Lakes from New York to Detroit and arrived in August 1845. Sailing then on the Nelson Smith, the settlers made their way to Saginaw and traveled over land to what is now the city of Frankenmuth

I suppose he could as he's a weight room freak but I just don't see it. This is like Osita being move to DE. He only gets moved to DE if he can't play LB. I do think he'll grow into a MLB but I just don't see DE. Especially with the guys they'll be bringing in with him at the position. FWIW, I think his 6'4 height on 247 is a tad generous. I'd bet he shows up 6'2 and some change.

With due respect to Zeigler, he's a heck of an athlete but a pretty raw lacrosse player. Gobaira, on the other hand, would be a top recruit as a defender. I only saw him in person in camp when he was a freshman but he had all of the tools you are looking for and unlimited upside.

Also, that was a soft call... I don't know what kind of pansy ass version of lacrosse they're playing in Michigan. It's right on his hip, compact check. If you pause it at the 3 second mark you can see he initiates the check as the pass is being thrown. Maybe you could argue it's a cross check, but that's a bad call.
