First Anthony Barr then Jacob Eason now this...
When will it stop!?
***Add italics if you want. I really thought he was going to be the S stud of the '17 class.
Just reading the latest updates I would have been surprised if we had landed him. However, he's in the 17 class, so there's still time to whip up on Pitt, make a run for the playoffs and then flip him.

There's also a lot of time for Narduzzi to get his next job. Actually, I think the only jobs Narduzzi would take are OSU, ND, UM or MSU. I imagine those are taken for the next few years unless the NFL could lure one or more of those coaches to the league.
Regarding Ford: I should have been more clear about him being the S stud of the '17 class. EARLY ON, I thought he was going to be the S stud. It's been pretty clear as of late that that wasn't what was in the cards.
Dag Gummit..
Miami might not be a bad spot for a defense first coach. Hell South Carolina might not be a bad spot.
Wish we landed this kid. Watching AA game kid plays at another level and has the gritty edge that the D could use. He returned a punt earlier, lowered his head and went right at the defender plowed him and picked up another 10. Like the hard work. Did we ever have a shot for him?
Saw on Reddit: not enrolling at Pitt, top post alludes to academic issues
crazy we didn't get more involved with him (not putting it on the staff, some kids just aren't interested in doing their classwork... HS classwork).
just saw on twitter from an NFL analyst for nfl.com said he isn't sure what he trained for after opting out. heard from a scout he was doing 360's at the touch line on the short shuttle and ran a 4.90 forty...said as a safety, that's not draftable
