One of the most boring tapes I've seen. All this kid does is score touchdowns against good competition.

Especially considering the name and his cousins. Being related to famous football players, especially that closely, usually gets you more looks

Plays with the big boys in 8A - Orlando metro

Stat line:

10G.....17 rec.....515yd.....30.3ypr.....7TD.

also had 29 tackles, 1 INT for TD, a rushing TD and a KR TD.

This was a Sr. dominated team. He was the only Jr with any stats. Bet he has a huge year or bet the coach gets fired. lol

He seems to be another one of these kids that has the flexibility to play either side of the ball. Definitely see him as a big FS if WR doesn't work out.

That's right Jordan, save the best for last. We can accept his commitment that day.

Jordan Pouncey's whirlwind recruiting trip starts in Alabama, ends at Notre Dame - Orlando Sentinel

Notre Dame is one of the most recent offers for Pouncey and he said he has always thought highly of the Fighting Irish.

"It was a dream come true, really .... ever since I was a little kid — I watched the movie Rudy — and I'm just a real big fan of Notre Dame football and the tradition they have up there," Pouncey said.

"UCF is still a school that I am highly considering just because it's the hometown team, my parents went here, I have a lot of friends that have signed here and I have some friends that are possibly going to commit, so UCF is still high on my list," Pouncey said.

The big-name, traditional powers make it difficult to keep UCF in the picture for many players, but Pouncey tries not to let that cloud his vision.

"It's really difficult because I see all these big names, but UCF ... there's so much that I would be able to do here compared to like Alabama," Pouncey said, "so it's going to be a really tough decision."

Do we recruit WR's under 6'2? You would think Kelly is starting a basketball team

Pouncey opting out of his FSU trip was more than Seminole fan boi Loy could handle. He cried uncle with a CB for ND.

Follows Donohue from BR and Chris Hayes, the recruiting analyst for the Orlando Sentinel.

His visit list posted earlier didn't include FSU. Is Anna a little behind? What am I missing?

I expect him to commit at II.

So does the sports writer that covers his school for the Orlando paper. Looks almost like the staff's not comfortable with where they're at with Black, OSB and Jones as a group.

He's currently on a bus tour with his team. When the rest of the team heads to FSU for their final stop, he and one of his coaches are coming to Irish Invasion instead.

Parents both went to UCF, cousins both were Gators. I could see how he may not have an affinity for the Criminals.

I just watched his tape and can clearly see why he has so many offers. He makes everything look super easy. Man amongst boys out there. He'd be a great get. Seriously...THAT offer list and he's #788 on 247??? That's bonkers.

Agree on all. I assume the offer is at WR and his film is pretty darn good there.

I also assume the offer is for WR. His tape at DB is definitely top notch though too, but I don't want him at safety like everyone seems to with our recruits lately...haha. just being cheeky..GO IRISH!!!!

Next to CJ Verdell, my favorite film of the year.

It should be a good film, he averaged 30yds per reception. And his DB play with those TD saving plays where he was 20 yards off the ball and he tracks down the runner??? Those get big points with me every time.

I will be thrilled with him, Michael Young and whoever takes the spot between OSB, Tarik and Hezekiah. I like OSB because of the family, I like Tarik because of the NFL body and I like Hezekiah because of film. If I only get one and i can look past the family connection, I'm going Hezekiah Jones.

Reps. 100% agree with you on all 3 and with your choice of the player you want the most.

Jones film is outstanding. As I said in his thread it's a crime he is not a consensus top 100 player.

Florida offered while he was visiting yesterday, and the last 3 CBs have been for them.

Kind of reminds me of Jalen Elliot, both parents alumni of a big in state school, and they all get enamored by the Irish
