Well, since I have (as BGIF might say) an embarrassment of v-riches, through no effort or design or intention of my own, I guess that I'll bet.

No particular rhyme, reason or rationale.

I'm mulling possible (constructive) ways to disperse and dispense with my v-larder; my v-stash.

From a statistcal, betting standpoint: without doing research, i think it is odd/extremely rare that a favorite covers by 27 points; yet the total goes under by more than 20. Typically big, favorite covers imply the over.

This could lean toward some over generous lines in Cleveland - we'll see. The public has been heavy on GSW all year.

Kevin Love was a 25 and 10 guy, Kyrie Irving is a top 15 player easily, possibly top 10. Thompson is a double double. No excuse LeBron, be great and win.

Curry, Westbrook, Durant, Leonard, Lillard, Paul, George, Harden, Melo, Lebron, Boogie, Davis are clearly above KI.


There's a cluster of guys after that are all debatable. Klay, Green, Aldridge, Butler, Irving, Griffin, Lowry, Derozan, KAT, Wall, etc.

This disregards the older players like Wade, Dirk, etc.

I'd be comfortable putting him in the top 15-20 range, but not top 10.

All the players I listed played defense for at least one possession in their careers. Melo = zero defense... ever!

You smoking that funny stuff again? PG13 is a far better player than Irving, no debate. Ask any GM if they had to start a team and could only pick PG13 or Irving, you might get one or two to say Irving, but the consensus is PG13. Irving hasn't even learned how to spell defense let alone play it.

Melo is no all-NBA defender but his defense has improved a lot. For example, he was top 5 in the league last year in defending 3s. It's hard for me to take your list seriously when you claim Melo is off the list because of defense but James "I will step to the side if you drive at me" Harden is on it.
