Totally bummed. ND didn't make Martell's Top 75 list.

So you're saying there's a chance!
Yeah, it would suck bringing in 5* talent, especially at a position as unimportant as QB.To be honest I don't think we want that chance

Why not? What do we KNOW about him that's so bad?Definitely in the group that doesn't want this kid. He can be a heck of a talent, that doesn't mean I want him on my football team and it certainly doesn't mean he'll produce at the next level.

lmao a 35 year old using the 100 emoji. do less
Mannie Netherly 4 star WR from A&M just decommitted because of what the coach posted lol
I can't tell you anything we KNOW for a fact, but there's always been whispers about him being a flaky kid, a risk to decommit from anywhere who was going to commit (check), and from what I've heard, not a good fit for ND.
But like you said, we don't anything for sure, and it might be just bad intel. I do think it's telling though that ND never even offered him - a 5 star kid at a position of need from a top football school where you already have a strong presence. To me, that speaks volumes.

Texas A&M assistant coach Aaron Moorehead took to Twitter hours after Martell decommitted with choice words. Per NCAA rules, he can’t comment about a recruit specifically. But he surely was talking about Martell.
“People talk about leadership and this generation flip flops like its nothing. That's a real issue. My dad would have whipped my ass,” Moorehead posted in one of multiple tweets.
His reaction caused Mannie Netherly, one of Texas A&M’s top wide receiver recruits, to decommit, too.
I agree with what most of Moorehead said BUT if he wants to be a successful coach and recruiter in college those types of things can not get to you.
