SWEET! Sad to see Denise go - wonder what they will do now for a doctor. But i'm happy it wasn't the comic book alternative.

I also was wondering what happened to Daryl's cross bow when he walked out with a shotgun...only to remember a few minutes later in the episode.

I know this is a bit nitpicky but why would they take their only doctor out of the base?? All-time dumb decision. (credit to reddit for this point)

Didn't she basically make it sound like she was going out on her own if they didn't take her? I was half asleep watching it last night so I don't remember the exact conversation. But I thought that's what she was implying. Could definitely have misinterpreted it though.

Yeah, that's true. But I don't think it would have been difficult for Rick or someone to force her to stay.

Yah I never understood that.

"I can read the pill bottles!"

Err, how about you just take them all? Oh Right Daryl says that as they jump the counter. WHY ARE YOU OUT OF THE COMPOUND.

Hilltop has a real doctor...of sorts. I'm sure someone else in Alexandria can use the medical texts Denise had for some basic patch work. Maybe they don't save a Carl type wound, but Denise wasn't exactly a wizard or anything to begin with. Definitely stupid on their part to take her outside of the town, they're back to square one.

Did anyone else's audio cut out at the end of the episode? It looked like AMC started showing next week's preview while the current episode was still running, it seemed to cut out Carol's little speech at the end (It showed the video feed, with next week's preview showing in a box off to the side). My only guess is that commercials in my area ran over by about 10 seconds or something and they had to scrunch the preview in at the end to make up for it.

I want to know why Carroll is leaving? Like she knows a threat is out there and she is just dipping now. Morgan really did a number on her. I just want Morgan to die so bad he's so fcking useless and just a complete bitch

Carol is leaving because she believes in killing for defense but not for offense. As she stated in the letter as she also stated she should never have come back.

So who does everyone think Negan kills? I could see Daryl and Carroll meeting Lucile

IMO I think Daryl is 100% @dead in two weeks

Not that you did this, I just see this post going down this road, please don't give spoilers from the comics in here. This isn't a spoiler thread.

I have never read a single comic book and let alone a single comic book regarding the walking dead. It's all speculation on my part and my guess on who Negan will kill. No spoilers I promise bro

Lies! I don't believe "Lucille" has come up in the show yet. Maybe you haven't read the comics, but you certainly have some information outside of the show that you're working with. That said, your comments are moot, since Daryl never existed in the comics, and the Carroll from the show is on a different path than the one from the comics.

The one thing that bothers me is how Carol turned into a badass then all the sudden is a whimpering sissy when she is captured. She seemed really practical about what needed to be done now she's a female Morgan.

Comic spoilers at this point are irrelevant. All we know is that someone is going to bite it. Some characters are still alive in the show that are dead in the comics and vice versa. Daryl doesn't even exist in the comic.

Did it matter when Carl's eye scene was spoiled in this thread? It's still on the same plot trajectory and there are tons of scenes from the comics that will be in the show,

The mods granted us a "no-spoiler" policy for this thread. Those of us who haven't read them would appreciate it if it were followed.

It's been noted that Negan will make his debut in the finale. That makes me think that a main character will be put under his "knife" since it just makes sense being the finale.

The more I watch the show the more I think that Morgan will be the one.

I also just have a feeling that Miss Rosita will also be lost this season.

God help the producers and AMC execs if Daryl ever "bites" it.

I'm preparing myself for Daryl to die in the finale. He had a big part in this last episode and the previews for next week seem to indicate he is going on a rampage to find Carol. I'm going to be really pissed.

I swear I am not trying to spoil anything and won't drop anything that hasn't already been talked about it. I am not trying to be that guy and I apologize to Wooly and anyone else if they think I was trying to be that guy

I just thought it was known Negan and Lucille were coming

She didn't turn into a sissy when she was captured, she was already going down that road before they got there. She was always sitting in the porch swing with her rosary, not sleeping, counting how many people she killed, etc.

This is a topic I think many of us seem to be jaded on. The show glorifies killing so much that we instantly think of anyone who doesn't want to in the show as a "sissy". In real life, I would hope that there would be people like Morgan and Carol who eventually saw that killing offensively is murder, and that this is something outside of their moral compass. Choosing not to kill in a world where it could cost you your life is far more brave than simply shooting everything in sight. I don't see Carol or Morgan as sissies at all. They both clearly have the ability to kill people... but they have the courage not to.

The rampage they previewed looked like it will be some most excellent television.

I thought she grabbed the rosary in the episode before? I wasn't aware she always had it.

EDIT:

Yah she grabbed it off a walker that Paula killed.

Exactly. The fear of what they will be become and what has become of the world. All of that burden on their psyche and remorse mixed with fear. It is not the zombies, it is the human element that is scary in all of this. Great post bro!

Daryl is like the Manny Ramirez to Boston Red Sox. Everyone loves him and thinks there's no life without him. Then you go on to win a title without him in 2013.

Long live Rick.

Its not what you will become, you have to become. In that world that is what its come down to. Its brutal but it is what it is.

I wonder who has killed more people in the zombie apocalypse...Carol or Rick?

Rick certainly has the edge when it comes to walker kills, but given the mayhem Carol extracted in Terminus, killing Wolves while Rick was leading the heard away, lighting several Saviors on fire a few episodes ago, and the fact she had to blow away Lizzie (Which is probably the worst human kill they've shown imo)...Carol may have the edge in human deaths.

I would ask from the next episode's preview what y'all think...

But I guess we know now.

Did Daryl die or was he just wounded?
