Ah. So I should pick up the JK Arizona Wilderness collaboration?
Haven't tried that one specifically, but I haven't been disappointed by any of AW's beers yet, so it's probably a safe bet.

Another beer from Jackalope, Blackrocks Gnomas Barleywine.
It's being released this weekend. I'll share the announcement and description when I get home later.Haven't tried that one specifically, but I haven't been disappointed by any of AW's beers yet, so it's probably a safe bet.
That one isn't the best but it's a cool can and a new brewery to check off of your list. What did you think? And how about the Blueberry Stout? You can be honest.

Jester King Brewery: Introducing Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. / Jester King Buford's Roadside Wares
This is the new brew. Inspired by Biere de Garde. Fermented in brandy barrels previously used in a very highly regarded offering, Jester King Repose. Looks like a winner to me.
Also, something I found out last time I went out to JK. The owner is a Domer.
Those guys are living the life...
I thought that Blackrocks Gnomas was pretty good. Not as complex as the best barleywines but the dominant toffee flavor was pretty good. Now the Tres Blueberry was a whole different ballgame. I liked my first couple of sips as it seemed to taste like a chocolate covered blueberry with some roastiness but the overwhelming acidity got to me about halfway through (and it became a little oversweet). Fun to try but I couldn't imagine drinking a 6 pack of that.
Agreed. The Domer is an old lawyer, class of '02.
It's a shame I didn't win that giant Powerball; I would have liked to buy a small place near JK and make my way over every week.
That's interesting. I really like the blueberry stout although I usually only ever have one. Honestly I'm not sure I've ever had two in a sitting. And I'm glad you enjoyed the Gnomas, maybe I'll have to re-visit it. Thanks for the input. You should really drink that Superfluid, I think it's one of Shorts best.
I'm having a Jack's Abby Framinghammer Baltic Porter while I pump all the water out of my yard. This is possibly my favorite Baltic Porter. A must try.
Imagine if one of us won the Power Ball and shared it with IE's bon vivants. We could all open our own brewpubs, grow gnarly beards and travel the country brewing over-the-top collaborations.
I plan on having it Thursday for the start of the tournament and I am very excited about it. Then again I could have it tonight, since technically it starts today.....
New Holland Dragon's Milk Reserve with Toasted Chilies.
Thank you Jackalope.
I have a Sierra Nevada mix pack in the fridge... cooking some corned beef in some Ruthless Right now... Just didn't feel like the normal SP Pub Ale this year...

I am having some coffee right now.
First cup was Starbuck's single origin Rwanda Rift Valley
2nd cup is Peet's Major Dickason's blend.
Im drinking a Belgian style white ale from Cigar City Brewing. I just brought some back with me from Daytona. They have some excellent beer.
I have come to the conclusion that Ballast Point is just too high priced... I enjoy the grapefruit and pineapple but when I can get other good IPAs at half the price... yeah, I'm good with Stone, Abita, Sierra Nevada and others...
I mean a 12er of SN costs less than a 6er of Sculpin out here.
Cigar City should be expanding soon. They were just bought by Oskae Blues/Fireman Capital.
