Great to see the assault on Trump. Cruz would have been a great actor. Very dramatic, lots of theater from him.
You can see why he was a damn good attorney... and why people seem to think he's a dick.

Anything is possible against two weak Dems. And you can't deny that the nation is fed up with their political choices in general regardless of party.

I am not a big fan of either democrat, but the nominee is going to be Hillary and as dumb as this country can be at times they will still vote (overwhelmingly) for an adult in a real election.

Well that was... fun?

Straight talk how the fuck is anyone voting for Trump? He makes no sense! He contradicts himself every other sentence!

He did have a few good points on going to more war we can't afford, the trade deficit and our "friends" devaluation of currency.

I thought Rubio nailed it and should have done this three debates ago.

Cruz is just so arrogant. Kassich and Carson need to go away.

What would define overwhelmingly?

Wish he would have ran as Democrat... He could have won easily.

He wouldn't stand a chance in the Democratic field. His relationship with unions is awful and his stance on abortion is entirely incompatible with the pro-choice prerequisite. Plus his time at Lehman Brothers isn't exactly what the anti-establishment is looking for this election.

They had a moderate with a wonderful record and laughed him off the stage.

The party is just too liberal. They made a great American like Jim Webb look out of place.

Webb did that himself with one gaffe in which he smiled while talking about killing Vietnamese enemies. It got weird.

RealClearPolitics - 2016 Presidential Race

Here is an aggregate of recent polls. Sanders pretty much dominates Clinton in head to heads versus each Republicans. His strongest competition would be Rubio. He crushes Trump and the other Republican candidates.

Clinton is favored to lose to each of the R's at this point, except Trump. This is nationally keep in mind. Interestingly enough, Kasich kills Clinton but she beats Trump and loses to everyone else.

Based on the polls I have been keeping up with, Bernie is in a statistical tie with Clinton right now and is trending up. He also crushes all candidates in the favorability category. IMO, Clinton goes down in the primaries again and it will be Sanders vs. Trump.

Take a look at the polls linked herein. I think It shows a pretty clear pattern IMO.

He was toast before that, but I agree that sealed it. Veteran humor doesn't always translate well...

Last night was the first debate I've watched for this election. All I can say is, how in the hell is Kasich not more of a contender? He really hit home with me, and he actually explained what he plans to do. People are really starting to piss me off trying to make that movie Idiocracy into our reality with the side shows they are supporting.

3 key take aways from last night:

Rubio is a choke artist, Cruz is a basket case and The Wall is going to be 10 ft higher.

If Kasich doesn't pull something out of his arse to get votes (I hope he does), I just have a feeling he will be a good VP candidate for the leaders.
