Ehhhhhh, I thought "Yeezus" suuuuuuuucked, with the exception of Black Skinhead. The rest of the album felt like Kanye trying to be a "genius-artist," when in reality it was just annoying use of sounds. I think people only liked the album because it was hip to say that it was good. I actually kind of feel the same way about "To Pimp a Butterfly" now that it's been out for a while. It's very different, which made it good for a few months, but now it's just mostly below-average to me, with the exception of four or maybe five tracks. And I love Kendrick.

As for the others, "College Dropout" was the shit. "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" was the shit. "808's and Hearbreak" was an amazing experiment/change for Kanye. But I wouldn't call "Late Registration" and "Graduation" very good.

But dammit, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm gonna have to go through Kanye's whole catalog on Spotify the next few days to make sure my opinions still hold haha.

Everything about this is genius. The lyrics are genius. The video is genius. The editing is genius.

He made a rap video to rival any other rap video, and he made it for free. It's hilarious when you consider that rappers probably spends tens or even hundreds of thousands on their music videos.

I really like how it tells the story, and the editing makes it so much funnier. He explains his mission to an old lady in a documentary-style scene, which then cuts to a fully-edited music video in that same old lady's mansion. You never watch a video and think, "I wonder who's house that is?"

Something about knowing there is an old lady milling about somewhere behind those windows makes it all the more entertaining when he's doing the generic/cliche/cheesy slow-motion music video dancing with nifty camera angles.

I also love when he's asking the girl at McLaren if he could use a car for 15 minutes, and she laughs at him like he's a fool... and then they cut straight to another fully-edited shot of him dancing alongside a McLaren lol.

Lastly: "I get logins for Netflix from my cousin Greg. Thanks Greg."

Talking to a friend about it, we got around to Cudi's contributions to Kanye's albums, which then lead us to ranking Kanye's albums.

That's how I feel about "Yeezus," "Graduation" and most of "Watch the Throne" (though not sure if that counts).

"Yeezus" was trash. "Graduation" has two decent tracks. "Watch The Throne" was okay, but didn't feel like they actually put effort into their megastar collaboration.

I like "Life of Pablo" because it's 50% awesome album, and 50% Yeezus-like trash... but the good parts far outweight the bad parts.

Went to see the "I love the 90's" concert last week in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After the show, went back to Hotel. Ran into Kid n Play and Peppa from Salt and Peppa fame. Got a picture with them. Even bought Play a beer, He was very nice and appreciated us seeing them at the show. Fun time.
