Been some pretty positive tweets on his visit sounds like we at least put ourselves in contention

Freeman/ISD has an update on him. Loved his visit, father blown away by tradition and might have loved the trip even more than Blount, which is saying a lot. They expect him back for II this summer; Irish definitely solidified themselves in his top group.

Top Performers: The Opening Regional in Atlanta

Next Five Offense
1. Atlanta (Ga.) Pace four-star receiver Trey Blount could earn an invite to The Opening down the road, as we thought the Peach State talent was outstanding, particularly in the competition portion. Blount has a huge catch radius, made several plays downfield, adjusts his routes well on the fly, changing speeds, adjusts to the ball, his stop-start ability for a player his size was impressive. Blount is considering offers from the likes of Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame, Florida, Oregon and Tennessee.

We need to embarrass them this year.

Really like this kid going to be an extremely tough pull for Georgia in an interview today he pretty much hinted they were on top.

We won't be embarrassing Stanford anytime in the near future

It will be really hard to pull any GA kids. But sometimes it works. I can wish for embarrassing Stanford though.

Would you guys prefer Blount or Black?

I've been watching both of their film quite a bit this weekend.

Fairly equal prospects IMO. I go with Both of course. If I had to pick one it would be Black because he is from CT.

Scout: announced a top 5 of UGA, ND, Oregon, UF, Tennessee. Notes Bama may factor in too. He is looking visiting for II, Stanford game and possibly another game. Comments he had a similar experience to what McKinley had last year

likely to be at Irish Invasion

"They just like that South speed," Blount said when asked about Notre Dame's recruiting pitch to him. "They want to bring it up North and they told me that I can play on the outside and stretch the field for them."

"Their academics is A1," he added. "They are like top in the country for academics. I want to study electrical or electronic engineering and they have a great engineering program."

On ND's end we think we could lock this up early. However, from Bama's end, their sources have indicated that the Tide are the leaders with UGA and ND as top competition. It will be interesting to follow but apparently this is Saban's top of the board WR.

I like this kids style.

If I could go back to college I would major in mechanical or electrical engineering. Then I wouldn't be stuck in stupid IT.

Spent time around some key UGA targets yesterday at MVP Middle School camp. Andrew Thomas,, Trey Blount, Jeremiah Holloman among others. Just talking to some people around this Dawgs are WAY in it for Blount and Holloman. Holloman told me could decide “soon”. I think this one will be over by late May or very early June. Right now I really like the Dawgs chances but the Vols are still involved here.
