so apparently Stanford grad programs are so hard for football players to get into that they are being encouraged to grad transfer to other schools if they wish to keep playing college ball. This is what is happening with Pryts

Take that with a grain of salt. It seems like 100% propaganda from David Shaw. They have for many years had TONS of 5th year players (in fact, it was one of their calling cards) and it seems awfully convenient that they go 4-8 and magically the grad programs are now “so hard to get into” when they weren’t a year ago.

Per a really good (and honest) Stanford source that ISD has, these players entering the portal has a lot to do with program wide football players and nothing to do with grad school being “so hard” to get into.

Exactly. Grad transfers have NEVER been a problem with Stanford until this year.
