Man, I haven't seen something hinder Alabama like this since illiteracy and heart disease were invented.

Did they give out scarves tonight, or did I miss yet another sweeping fashion trend?

This is a terrific game. Hard hitting and great play making on both sides. This is a slug fest which is fun to watch.

Obviously I'd like to see Bama leading by 30 at this point, but yeah, otherwise it's been a very hard-hitting, hard fought game that's been fun to watch.

McKenzie and now Bulware hurt. Clemson will be in trouble if they both are out for the 2nd half.

I can't believe Bama can't get a 5 or high 4* QB. To help this offense.

I feel like we're a semi-truck full of steroids from being competative with these teams. No I don't think this is the Clemson team we faced in week 6. They'd clean our clock now IMO. I've never in my life seen a ND team field a team with this much physicality.

I hear ya. The speed and physicality of this game seems to be on another level.

What are you talking about? 2013 Cooper Bateman was a 4 star, # 11 QB. 2014 David Cornwell a 4 star, #3 QB. Also don't forget Blake Barnett 4 star and #2 DT QB that everyone on IE was drooling over and bastardizing when he flipped

I never drink coffee after lunch, but it's the last game of the year and a good one. Time to make some coffee to stay up for this one.

That's BS. This is the same Clemson team we played. What most ND fans failed to admit after that game is the weather affected Clemson as much as ND. We heard "lost by 2 in a hurricane" as if Clemson wasn't playing in the same conditions and insinuating if it were clear skies we would've won.

I think the biggest difference continues to be depth. Our top 22 is comparable to these teams, but we can't sustain the injuries we've had and continue to be competitive as the season progresses. Also, we aren't "better" than these teams so we have to play a clean game to win and we continue to make terrible mistakes in our biggest games.

Just because the teams are playing in the same conditions doesn't mean those conditions affect the teams equally. Remember the Sun Bowl in 2010? I don't recall our players hugging their long underwear and wishing it was over. Remember when we went to play ASU in billion degree heat?

Clemson had been practicing in the rain all week and didn't have to travel. The result might have been very different if the conditions had been different. That's all anyone's saying.

Was it just me or was that hit unnecessarily low?

guys are flying around with heads down on both sides of the ball. Bama seems a bit dirtier but they play off each others digression.
