Holding off until the Army AA Game is a good move if you know he's a lock. It gives both him and ND their moment at college football's premier All Star game on college football's #2 most visible recruiting day.

Yea, nothing wrong with the way he's went about this.

I'm pretty sure he was making a joke

I got it. Moose knows his stuff. It's just without the italics, half of the posters here and 98% of the readers won't understand.

I probably shouldn't have quoted him and just made the comment. All I did was confuse the sharp guys.

If we land Javon I will fill less hurt about losing Fuller. A. Fuller didn't have a crazy good Freshman year and made a huge jump his sophmore year do partially to Daniels being suspended. I think someone will step up and fill the void. Javon should be getting time as a freshman.

I am not say the Javon won't have a huge impact on the outside but that's a strong suite. I am not sure we have a Fuller on the Roster that with blow everyone away. But we have the weapons that can still make us dangerous.

How many teams in the country have a Will Fuller? You can count them on one hand. The last thing I am worried about on this depth is depth and production at the WR spot.

Guys like ESB, Sanders, Hunter Jr. etc. will step up and provide the production as a group. If anything we became more dangerous as the season went on as more players were able to contribute, here's to looking at you Cbreezy. I think next years WR could be better as a whole, provided these guys stay and develop.

Was there a point B?

Very few teams have a Will Fuller, and we're going to miss him. Having him and Prosise year this year put opposing OC's in an impossible position. Having Folston and Adams next year should be more than fine at the RB position, but Fuller's impact on defenses will be much tougher to replace.

Yes I agree. Hunter JR is going to be exciting I do believe.

Can Sanders catch? If he can, and he's as fast/faster than Fuller...

Next season Hunter will become a real playmaker. And size will also become an issue for opposing defenses with guys like ESB, Robinson, Jones and Boykin. Not at all worried about this position.

And if we re-learn to use the TE, wow, just wow.

I see Sanders taking over Amir Carlisle's spot next year, too bad he couldn't be in some packages on offense this past season with his speed.

Starting three next year for me will be Tori Hunter, ESB and CJ Sanders. Corey Robinson is what he is I think the stage at times is to big for him. Staff is obsessed with ESB and Sanders on the field you have to respect him. Know one really knows what he can bring in the slot because we never saw him there for some reason.

I'm still not convinced that CJ is that fast- maybe because he's too hesitant at times?

He's fast. 4.32 40 at the Opening. 10.76 / 100 and 21.88 / 200 as a high school Jr.

Serious track fast anyway you cut it.

Javon is not overly clock quick but he has zero hesitation and I think I only saw him get caught once on KR/PR. That might not sound like anything special until you think about who's on his HS schedule week in and out.

What? Can you clarify for me what you mean

"I love it," he said when asked about Notre Dame. "I know a lot of guys they say there's not much out there. I mean I see that, that there's not much out there. But you know you're not out there just to have fun. You're there to get business done, go get your education and that's what I'm going to do once I'm in college."

I wouldn't sell Corey short. I think he becomes a senior leader next year and I'm quite certain staff is expecting a lot from him next year. I'm also excited to see Miles Boykin who is a WR built like a TE. Kelly is very high on him.

Justin Brent needs to be moved back to WR in the spring. Kid is to talented not to get on the field as a junior. If he stopped banging porn stars that would be helpful too.

WR1, Slot, WR2

ESB, Hunter Jr., Boykin

Robinson , CJ, Claypool

Holmes, Stephenson, Brent

McKinley jumps into that third group as Brent and Holmes are complete unknowns and may not even at that position next year.

Losing Brown, Fuller, Guyton makes Mckinley a high priority and hope he truly is a silent and solid!
