A great young man. Total class. Will get the Notre Dame degree. Best wishes Jaylon. Tear it up in the NFL.

Injury looked pretty ugly how his leg bent, maybe broken?

Haven't felt this sick for a guy getting hurt in a long time. That face he had when he got up...

There can't be any way he gets healthy for the combine if it's as bad as it looks right?

I don't see why he would come back because of the injury. If anything I think it would push him even more towards the draft.

He no longer has the combine or a pro day. Not having those two can drop him out of the first round; the difference between a first round and second round pick is millions of dollars. Come back, get your knee healthy, and complete the unfinished business

No, it won't.

I think he would still be a first round pick without a combine our pro day

He'll just end up being a late first round steal for someone like the patriots

Honestly, he doesn't need the combine or pro day. The NFL scouts are very aware of how good he is. He could also come back to school, re-aggravate the injury, and never be able to play again and cost himself millions.

No way he drops out of the 1st. If anything, this injury may cause guys like Fuller to seriously think about leaving while they are still healthy.

Jaylon has too much raw talent to fall out of the first round. It'll come down to whether he thinks he falls a few picks or not and whether that's worth another year.

This is my thoughts as well...obviously depending on severity of injury. Bad hyperextended sprain that will be ready by combine is much different than a surgically repaired tear. Hope he has a speedy recovery whatever the injury.

If it's an ACL tear then I think he goes from being a top 5-10 pick to somewhere in the 2nd half of the 1st round. I would absolutely LOVE for him to slip to by Bengals in the late 20s and see us grab him; he's an amazing talent and we haven't had a LB who could cover a TE in years.

I hope he comes back for his senior year, but won't fault him for whatever decision he makes. I just hate to see his season end like this and for his short-term future to be jeopardized.

It is already noted that Jaylon is an insane physical specimen. The combine and pro days are for guys like Chris Brown, who are physical freaks but don't get a lot of recognition due to lack of production. Jaylon's draft stock wouldn't go any higher with participation in those, it would just make for good talking points for draft scouts. His tape speaks for itself. You could see a drop from potential long term effects of the injury ie: not being healthy by the start of Training camp, but not from not participating in the combine.

No first rounder this year! Every non-Pats ND fan is saved from having to imagine Jaylon there.
