Some refreshing honesty from Brandon when speaking about schools. Told 247 he's taking an OV to Bama because they are a great football factory.
His 5 OV's are:
Sep. 12 - Ohio St vs. Hawaii
Oct. 3 - Oklahoma vs. WVU
Oct. 10 - Florida St vs. Miami
Oct. 17 - ND vs. SC
Nov. 7 - Alabama vs. LSU
Wish he was going to an earlier Bama game. Any sales guy knows it's best to be last when you're pitching.
Still, Oklahoma and Ohio St look to be the losers here. Boring games next to the other 3 and FSU - Miami aren't on par with ND - SC and Bama - LSU this year.
Question is, is there room for Brandon by the time he's ready to commit, even if it's a silent during season?

according to TV ND is the biggest threat to ucla for him--247
Is he being recruited as a corner?

Any updates?
He's the biggest mystery to me whether it's destination, skill set, upside or need.
My guy here who's rarely wrong and never far off said its him and Kelly to Oklahoma.
Thanks for the update Panda
Gardena (Calif.) Serra athlete Brandon Burton was originally planning to visit Alabama over the weekend but didn't make the visit and will now
After taking official visits earlier in the year to Florida State, Notre Dame and Oklahoma, Cavalier athlete Brandon Burton was scheduled to check out Alabama this past weekend.
"I didn't make it out there," Burton said. "I need to figure out where I'm going to take that last visit now. My trip to Ohio State is still locked in for (Nov. 21) but with Bama out, I have an open visit.
"There's a good chance I'll just use an official on UCLA. Even though they're local and I've been there before, they have always been in my top five so it makes sense to use an official there. I don't have a date set yet but I'll work that all out later."
Burton's recruitment has been tough to follow. Pior to his visits, the Bruins looked like a solid leader but the visit to FSU really opened his eyes.
In fact, even a few weeks after the trip to Tallahassee, Burton was still as high on the visit as he was immediately following. He has a good relationship with the coaching staff, loves how he would be used on both sides of the ball and is childhood friends with incoming quarterback Malik Henry.
With UCLA, they're obviously the hometown school and although Burton has said he had no problem leaving home, we do know his family would love to see him stay local. He has a strong relationship with UCLA DB coach Demetrice Martin and would be allowed to go both ways as well.
Notre Dame and Oklahoma are definitely not out of it and with an upcoming visit to Columbus, you can't rule out the national champs either. Saying that, this does look like an FSU-UCLA battle right now and if UCLA can get that last official visit, it will definitely be big for them.

Wait a minute... didn't he sign a pipeline contract when he enrolled at Serra?
Anywhere but SC thank you.

SC cooled on him, if you believe the Trojan homers. (Not saying it's a falsehood.)

Khalil Tate committed to Arizona, so its not a USC pipeline anymore.

USC threads must be a pipeline to butthurt, amirite?
Not quite enough butt hurt only in USC threads to qualify as a pipeline.
Plenty of butthurt elsewhere.
Not all butthurt goes to USC.
