Pretty good half. I mean Stanford had the ball i don't know for how long and we're only down 1. Aside from that fumble, loving what I'm seeing from the team. Go Irish.

We are 0-2 for TDs in the redzone. And we are down by just 1. We have yet to punt. And we get the ball after half. Not a horrible position to be in.

BVG has typically made some good 2nd half adjustments. We have a good shot as long as that fumble didn't take the wind out of the team's sails. Which I'm guessing it didn't.

I've felt all along our best chance to win is to get something on special teams, no t give them anything on special teams, and win the turnover battle. If we win the turnover battle we'll win. If we don't at least draw even then it's gonna be tough

In retrospect, kind of wish we'd spiked the ball after the long run. With no timeouts would have helped to get out heads clear.

On the other hand, maybe Kelly thought we'd catch their d gassed. But then th4ey would have just taken a timeout.

Yeah his adjustments aren't my concern, its the tackling on the back end, which hasn't changed all year.

We gta find ways to get TDs in the red zone but I guarantee you Kelly is gun shy with Kizer right now.

Calls a great play vs an all out blitz and Kizer panics instead of standing in there.

Then instead of throwing it out the back, he tries to scramble with very poor ball security and we lose our chance at a 2 for 1 and being up 2 possesions to start second half.

McCaffery picked up two early 3rd and shorts/meds on scoring drives we had stopped but couldn't hang on.

I'm most concerned about the RZ O for sure tho.
