Week 9 Prediction Poll (ND @ Pitt)

Games vs Pitt always seem to be more difficult than assumed. Just want a win to keep marching forward. Solid game on all facets would really be nice and give momentum as we head for the ultimate goal.

Pitt always plays ND well. This game is never easy. Here's to hoping the offensive line plays a hell of a lot better than they did against Temple.

Pitt has a top 20 NFL pick in Boyd, always plays ND close, and has a special teams advantage. They will not be intimidated by ND. At all. But... Our offense is too dynamic. Going to Clemson and out gaining them by 136 yards. Going to temple and out gaining them by 172 yards. Why is this going to be any different? I go to UT, and have seen Peterman first-hand play all his college football games before he transferred. Let me tell you, one of the worst QB's I've seen play football. He's pretty much hated here after his atrocious performance against a Gators team that went on to win 4 games that year. But anyways... As long as we don't have the redone blues(again) we should cover the spread in this one. ND 33 Pitt 20

I'd like to see KVR on Boyd all day but due to the multiple formations and where Boyd lines up (usually to the field) that probably isn't going to happen. Pitt's QB stares him down big time...If we play the ball and look up in time we should see sme picks. If I'm playing saftey (which I did), I'd know where Boyd and the TE are at all times. But this QB will signal where he's throwing it 80% of the time...I've watch him very closely. Not closely enough to remember his name though.

SIAP but playing in the early game on the road scares me. Luckily there isn't a time difference but when routines get changed, it takes a half a quarter to a half to get into sync..

Boyd is a nasty threat and hope KVR plays the ball in the air like he has the past 6 quarters.
