Actually it's being said Stafford isn't expected to be around past this year.

As a Lions fan, this shit is so far over due. I've said for a few years now I'd be ok with sending Stafford down the line. Tate, as the weeks go bye, looks like he's loosing interest in the team as well.

I think you'll see Kelly at the Giants or Dolphins before Lions. I also think Kelly will fail as a pro coach, but I'm not 100% sure.

I could definitely see Kelly climbing the fence to coach the Lions but don't think it will be next year. He is too arrogant and knows damn well that the Lions will always suck and that he will have another opportunity (probably multiple) in the coming future to take over the reins.
