I hope he's dead. Can't stand him. Every time he speaks it's something corny that makes me cringe.

Edit: if he was not on Talking Dead tonight then he is still alive.

Great episode even though I am incredibly pissed that it doesn't look good for Glenn. I am hoping he is alive, but they haven't killed off a major character in a while, so I am thinking he is a goner.

Sucks to lose Glen, he was huge. But losing Michone, Daryl, Carol, or obviously Rick would be tougher for me to watch I think.

If Glenn is still alive, the camera shots are either inconsistent or extremely deceptive. The first shot of him hitting the ground, Nicolas is clearly not on top of him. It's just Glenn by himself.

The 2nd shot zooms in on his face and upper chest, so it's not clear if HIS body is actually being eaten. But based on the first shot, he was being eaten.

I would like to believe he is alive but even if he crawled under the bin where is he going to go?

I watched it a couple times last night and don't recall a shot of Glen by himself. That's not what I recall at all.

Did anyone else watch Talking Dead? I came away from that thinking there's a 50/50 chance he is alive.

They 100% said he will be back in some form, whether through a flashback or some other means to provide closure to his story. Something like that.

I thought he was dead last night, but after reading some of these comments and the fact he wasn't remembered on Talking Dead (Didn't watch it yet, and I'm kinda glad I haven't been), it certainly makes me think he's still alive. It does make you wonder how he could have possibly survived that if Nicholas was on top of him and it appeared the zombies were tearing into Glen. Did the zombies pull Nicholas' head off, and THEN we see then tearing into Nicholas' body with Glen underneath? They're certainly being a little deceptive with Glen's death, and if he is alive, I applaud them for that effort even if the logistics of the whole thing don't make much sense.

I've been thrilled with the season so far. Just 3 episodes in and this is shaping up to be the best season since the first imo. They're doing an excellent job providing tons of action and still balancing the drama/dialogue with it. There's a general sense of danger, it doesn't feel like they're just going to Rambo out of every situation.

As to the first bolded, what they did was do the in memorium for Nicholas and then they showed them falling down. Then the screen just said "Please don't be true, Please don't be true, please don't be true." I think, at a minimum, they want us to tune into the next two episodes to see what happened. It appears as though next week will be almost entirely about Morgan (although I heard it's a 90 minute episode so that's kind of strange...).

As to the second bolded, this is the first season in forever that I have been on the edge of my seat. When I'm wondering whether Rick will actually survive something, that's good writing.

What i'm wondering, is if his cut hand is foreshadowing the similar arch that takes place in the comics with Rick.

They also mentioned that in the Talking Dead as being a possibility.

Personally (and I haven't read the comics) I would be kind of pissed if they cut his hand off. We've already been through that plot with Herschel's leg and while the scene itself will be powerful, the show will suffer as a whole.

They talk about a character that hasn't been introduced yet, so don't open unless you okay with that. But just some theory and tinfoil about Glenn.

Did Glenn Really Die on The Walking Dead? - TWDEnthusiasts.com

I don't think there's any tinfoil hats after seeing that last part. I was already 90% sure Glenn was alive after hearing how they basically avoided the Glenn subject (In comparison to past deaths) on Talking Dead, but after reading that...

Just read that article. Seems like he is still alive. This season has been the best since the first one. I can hardly wait for it to come on the last couple weeks and that hasn't been the case the last few years.

Like they did in Atlanta. Smear blood and guts from the other guys body on himself.

First, didn't Rick cut himself when the knife he used, uncharacteristically a pocket knife, collapsed as he was pithing a zombie?

Secondly, the fact that anyone would see someone's eyes opened, conscious, not apparently in death throws, if there was a possibility they were being eviscerated and eating, deserves merit as the greatest question inspired by fiction, ever.

Not an expert by any means, but I think to open an abdominal cavity and allow intestines to vacate their normal confines, it has to be done with a small slit, low and to either side of the abdominal muscle. Even though prisoners have walked long enough to completely empty their body cavities of their entrails, something less than 30 feet, if the intestines are removed too forcefully, or once they are relieved of the cavity, other organs cease to function correctly, (heart, lungs, kidney, etc.) This would preclude a victim from writhing in pain or terror.

Man, I know this series is based on the unimaginable, happening in the most improbable of circumstances, but the whole scene, short of Glen escaping, is a non-starter for me. A cheap manipulation if you will.

Remember, the theme of the night was stated by Michonne, "Until you have so much blood on you, that you don't know if it is walkers, yours, or your friends, you don't know!' (I think that is close.)

And if they really wanted Glenn to die, they wouldn't have started rumors last summer, about him dying, now would they have?

My guess is the guts and blood camo.... I believe they did it in season one. Just a guess.

Blood & Guts only works when its from Walkers.

That was Michonne to Heath. For Glenn it was the name of the episode. "Thank you"

Clearly no one is on top of him. Plus the way his body hit the ground and reacted indicates no additional impact or weight upon him.

He is going to use Nicolas' body like a tauntaun and slip inside while he waits for the herd to move on.

I like the tauntaun idea, but my guess is Glenn hangs out for a bit while the walkers feast, and then something happens to draw the walkers away so Glenn can escape. Either it's the escaping Wolves from Alexandria, or maybe Rick escaping the walkers from the RV.

He isn't dead. It doesn't need to make logical sense this episode. Hell it doesn't need to be logical at all. My guess is they will show more of the fall in the next episode, which will explain how its possible for him to escape.

Logic went out the door a long time ago with this show. Logically Glenn would have never followed Nicholas down a tight alley with a herd of walkers on their tail. Glenn was smarter than that going back to Atlanta. Logically it's not going to take Michonne an hour to climb a fence with walkers trying to grab her. Logically some of those walker attacks in the last episode against the unnamed Alexandria people would have never happened, someone would have seen or heard them coming up, especially with several people there that just fought off a walker attack and would be on edge.

Just now getting to the end of Season 4. My new favorite character is the Mullet. Haha. I have a few friends that are just like him.

We already got that with Merle?

Last night's episode, while good, came at the wrong time. Now we gotta wait another week to learn Glen's fate.

Total fluff piece which probably could have been done in 60 minutes. I didn't mind it because I always wanted to know how Morgan unsnapped.
