I think we've narrowed it down. He may or may not commit this weekend. Did I leave out any details?

Bolded = huge.

Hopefully staff inform him its either you commit and shut it down or you do your visits first. No both.

Up to Daelin at this point. Wouldn't blame him at all for taking his visits and making sure.

Also, reps to PAND. Everyone give the man some love.

getting cleared to EE @ ND is an achievement considering how many times he switched High schools. Generally this switching can have a negative effect on a kid's ability to EE.

What happened: In July, 2014, the five-star made a quick commitment on his first recruiting visit to USC. He then moved to southern California with his mother, but had to return to Michigan just a month into his junior season. Hayes had made unofficial visits to several schools during the off-season, but always professed strength in his commitment to the Trojans until the University placed head coach Steve Sarkisian on a leave of absence Sunday. Hayes announced his de-commitment just hours later.

What's next?: Hayes released the five official visits he will be taking Wednesday night. He already had locked in an official visit to Notre Dame for this upcoming weekend, but in just the last few days, he has scheduled Ohio State for Nov. 7, Michigan State for Nov. 14, Oklahoma for Nov. 20 and LSU for Nov. 27. Prior to the de-commitment, Hayes told me Notre Dame was the only school he was in regular contact with outside of USC. The Fighting Irish are the team to beat in this recruitment and Hayes is a mid-year enrollee. - See more at: https://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1814448#sthash.hHUJL5JV.dpuf

so he just got offered by Oregon and is going to visit them instead of Oklahoma. I feel like we are going to get him particularly if we can get him back on campus for the banquet

ND needs to still give him the red carpet treatment this weekend like he were still a USC commit.

I trust in this staff. What would scare me the most is if he were to commit and still wanted to take his OV's.

Don't commit if your not sure.

No doubt he will get a lot of attention from the staff. Every time he has visited he has been a focal point. I think Kelly has learned from the past not to mess this recruitment up. He has proven lately to be a great closer to the point where he might have taken Daelin's recruitment over and he has been pretty good at that lately.

In Kelly I trust as a closer!

Gets an offer from Oregon so he drops Oklahoma. Seems like he's easily swayed by the flavor of the day. I'm not sure we hang onto him even if he commits to us.

I'd rather visit Beaverton, OR than Norman, Oklahoma.

U of O is in Eugene and Nike is in Beaverton. Eugene is a shithole and Beacerton is the suburbs. Obviously Oregon's campus is pretty cool as they've spent a lot of money on it.

Hate to break it to you Lucky, but South Bend is a shithole too ;)

I've been to Eugene... Shithole is definitely not a term I would use... I thought it was beautiful and had a nice mix of rural/urban in this very nice wooded backdrop... I loved it. Much nicer than Corvalis IMO.

That flavor of the day must be sh*t sandwich, because Oregon is doo doo right now.

Makes me think that the other four visits are window dressing.

This is a kid with a possible shoulder problem. Long-term. Limiting. He needs to EE wherever, and get the stick moving.

Maybe this reality will finally collide with his fantasy of announcing on the sideline of his AA game!

If he really tries to do that, and EE wouldn't he have to report to the school of his choice, like, the day after his AA game?

This guy is IRISH! Was standing right across him and Kramer at the player walk by the stadium. The guy next to me was hollering to/about Hayes being and/or should be irish. The kid was loving it and actually walked over to him to show him some love. A few minutes later i seen Kramer talking to him and i could actually hear Hayes say "all i know is that i love it here!" He had a smile on his face the whole time and had many players/coaches approaching him during the walk. U could see how he was digging the atmosphere. Many USC fans were spouting off about him decommitting. He would just look at them with a grin.
