one of his high school coaches alloway trusts w/ the recruiting process told him to commit before leaving because we utilize his position so well and ucla isn't really recruiting him hard as they have 2 guys like him currently committed
“I think if I did choose to go to Notre Dame, I think I would be comfortable saying I could spend the next three or four years away from home,” said Alloway. “I’m sure I wouldn’t be comfortable as soon as I got there, but I’m sure it would be fine after I started getting involved with everything. It’s like with my family, especially my grandparents, they really want me to go away from home and start my own thing and become my own person. Their take on everything is that they want me to do what I want and they’ll support me, but they definitely think it would be best to go away from home and go start my own thing in another state.”
“BK pretty much is saying that if I did choose Notre Dame, I would play next year,” said Alloway. “The opportunity would be there. He sees me playing and having a key role next year and having a key role in the offense. Other than that, he just broke down the options between Notre Dame and UCLA. He didn’t say anything bad about UCLA, but he broke down the differences between both schools and compared the two.”
