On the first of this month, dispensaries started selling the best herb
in the world at cut rate prices to anyone over the age of 21.

I never thought this day would come. I know Washington and Colorado
have done it already, but their prices and quality are crap.

It's so incredible. I remember reading High Times when I was 17
years old. Looking at the trichomes, looking at the beautiful flowers, never
thinking I could go to a store and buy an ounce of world class herb for 120 dollars.

Guess what? This day is here.

Colorado and Washington can go fuck themselves. Oregon is selling blue ribbon
herb for next to nothing.

An ounce should last a long time for someone who doesn't stay stoned all day. An ounce would last me at least a half year unless I had a noticeable uptick in consumption.

Enjoy buying the legal stuff JJ, and better yet, set up a personal garden. I heard the Gorilla Glue #4 has made it's way up the coast. You should find some cuts of that and run a few plants.

Hopefully we see the rest of the American states adopt similar laws.

CO quality is not that bad. Prices are high, but have gotten lower over the last year. Not a big smoker, but I will indulge from time to time, especially on trips to legal states lol. Denver cookies and Red Rock are a nice mix...

I'm in favor of legalization though I have never and will never indulge. Just not my cup of tea. But what has always annoyed me are those people that have to put it in your face that they smoke weed a lot. It just comes off brash and arrogant.

I was in Seattle back in April or so and my legal weed purchase was 32% THC Gorilla Glue.

Has anyone seen the phantom "checkpoints" as you leave Colorado? There are signs saying there is a checkpoint ahead and there will be drug and currency sniffing dogs. Then way up ahead there is a stick with a flashing blue light to simulate a cop car. There actually is no checkpoint, but if you get off the road and start dumping something, a real cop will roll up on you.

My wife and I saw one as we were driving out to Nashville during the move. I didn't have any drugs, but I had a number of guns (all transported legally), a lot of ammo, and we had a good sum of cash (our emergency fund) so I was a little freaked that if there was an actual checkpoint, they might seize the guns and cash.

When we saw it was a fake checkpoint and we kept going, I looked these things up online. They are being heavily challenged in the courts right now, but they are still widely used in states adjacent to states where pot is legal.
