Good thing I still have #13 ranked Butler basketball....a team that actually cares and doesn't go out and lay eggs year after year. Maybe someday the Irish will "return to glory" but until they can go out and play smart fundamental football they won't.

In my opinion, we were competitive in the 1st half, that's it.

I am trying to avoid the revisionist history we often see in the forum. After we lose by
20+ points there will be guys explaining away how we were actually close to winning and how we didn't really get dominated.

We played a good first half, outside of a few crappy calls. Giving up a 60+ drive with 1 minute in the first half was a killer. I'm not making excuses, I'm just sick as hell of getting smoked by every top 10 team. Its always the same.....Russell has his first rushing TD, longest pass of the year, and most passing yards of the year. D looked good for awhile. Same old story though, out of position, big plays. Ugh.

Yeah you guys got us....you guys are having a good solid season and the MVC is a really tough conference, maybe better then the Big Ten....too bad the little guys don't get any attention.
