Well two season's down 8 to go till Charlie junior graduates from ND. I hope his recuirts are as good as we think, because it looked like we got out coached tonight.

I love Weis, but there is a time to fake the punt, and it sure isn't at the start of the game. This stupid call gave LSU great field position and led to an easy score. All the experts refer to our lack of speed, and it was evident tonite. I thought the defensive coaches Weis hired were supposed to be top drawer. Heads need to roll on the defensive side of the ball. Our boys seemed totally confused at times. So many times our players were out of position defensively. Next season will be a challenge for us. We do have real potential at QB. I think Jones and Clausen will be more mobile than Quinn and throw better on the run than he did. It pissed me off when Prince finally got a chance to showcase his skills and he drops that swing pass. We had a lot of dropped balls in the LSU game. Both of our go to guys made great catches one moment, than dropped sue catches the next. We made no adjustments at half, and they did. GO IRISH 2007. LET'S HAVE A GREAT RECRUITING CLASS AND GREAT SPRING FOOTBALL. EVERYONE, HEADS UP!!! WE'LL GET THE MONKEY OFF OUR BACK 2007.

i agree we did get out coached on the defensive side of the ball...we were so easy to pick apart everytime we took our linebackers out and brought in the nickel package they ran the draw for 7+ and we never adjusted to it. you know i get that we are slow in the secondary but Jesus we need to keep something in the box other than four people no wonder in the second half lsu ran for 250+... im really hoping that charlie is recruiting some DB's that can actually cover a pass and not just the run, bc thats what we had this year, some hard hitting over thinking DB's and the biggest one was my favorite player, Zibby.
