Talk about a delusional fanbase: He won their precious conference title 5 times in ten years, claimed the only national title Michigan has had since 1948, AND managed to eek out victories against ND three times in that same period! That last statistic is certainly the most impressive.
Given that he has won half of all their regional titles in the past decade, I would suggest that if they want to play for more: They really need to leave the conference and become an independent. He has earned very good regional results for a regional football team. It is a sad day when fans of conference football are not content with that. I guess the other option is for them to just become Notre Dame fans...

seriously! I mean jeez, not to mention if you're winning Big X titles that often, you're in the National title hunt a lot of years simply by extentsion. I guess the vultures really are gathering in Ann Arbour. I'll admit Lloyd Carr's no Knute Rockne by any means, but he doesn't deserve to get fired given all that success.

This is GREAT!!!! The scUM fanbase is SOOO paranoid (rightfully so) that they will relinquish the winningest titles back to ND that they are acting SOOO IRRATIONALLY!!!
I like that: "M stands for Mediocre"...they'll be LLLUCKY to make the Holiday Bowl this year. However, WE SHOULD ROOT for them to go about 8-3, 7-4, so the Univ. of Mediocrity doesn't feel compelled to fire LLLoyd...with LLLoyd there, we might be able to overtake them in about 5-7 yrs.

My heart pumps P*ss for Michigan. Try playing a road game in early September or invite someone other than the MAC also-ran doormats into the Big House for the out of conference schedule. Boo hoo.
They've played two good teams and lost. One road game....lost. But if they were in the MAC, they'd win it all.
If Darrin Walls goes there, he's nuts.
