after looking at the replay (like LSU INT) it is really tough call...it would be hard to argue

If tghe call can't be made in 10 seconds, the call on the field should stand. Isn't that what Irrefutable means?

I think he is starting to tuck it away right as Bowe hits his arm

That was the correct call but these officials straight suck....the fumble was backwards and therefore should have been spotted behind the line.

he had it then fumbled it out of bounds and they are going to score because of it

When they go with 5 wideouts, they seem to have an advantage. But when we go 5 wideouts, BQ has no time to throw.

Running the ball worked in the 1992 Sugar bowl. And I think Weis knows that his Qb is having a bad night.

Running the ball worked in the '92 Sugar because Spurrier put 9 men in the box and there was no one to stop Bettis when he got past the line of scrimmage. There is no Bettis on this team and no Aaron Taylor, McGuire, and company up front blowing out those holes. Nor is there a backfield stable of Culver, Tony Brooks, Reggie Brooks, and Becton.

And if you remember the game Mirer had a good game hitting about 75% of his passes for 2 TDs including a 40 yarder. And Pendergast made a FG coming off the bench.

And ND played a Bend But Don't Break Defense all game.

Weis is spreading the field horizontally and nickling and diming LSU to control the clock. Walker looks quicker but his outside runs aren't being set up by the OLine. The effective blocking is coming from the WRs.

Don't know if you saw my other post, but I basically stated that we need to stay balanced to keep them guessing. Short passing game coupled with a healthy dose of DW. That will be the winning formula. If he gets BQ airing it out, we lose.

Well we just have to execute and score on every time we touch the football.
