My vote would be for either

Emily Blunt

Or

Katee Sackhoff

They're both too old. Marvel would want a six picture deal and they're both in their 30s. Good today but not good ten years from now. They won't age like RDJ.

How young can you go? Scarlet Witch is supposed to be a younger character than Captain Marvel and Elizabeth Olsen is already like 26.

Looking for a new show to start on Netflix and was told Friday Night Lights was a show I should check out. Any good? I've heard some pretty good things.

YES. If you even remotely liked the movie, you'll LOVE the show. The character development is outstanding. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes from reviewers, 96% from viewers. Scored 78 on metacritic, with a user score of 9.1 from 240 viewers.

"Extraordinary in just about every conceivable way." Washington Post

"You don't have to love football to admire Friday Night Lights." Orlando Sentinel

"A fiercely controlled and inventive work of art." The New York Times

It's the story of a poor immigrant who could only find work replacing light bulbs for an employer who only let him work on Friday nights. Recorded in Chechnyain with Korean subtitles. Got a 100 on Rotten Tomatoes in the existentialism genre.

So good. So so so good. It's like "The OC" meets "Remember the Titans" meets Texas.

Do you know if this is the actual one shown at D23 or there have been rumors of a fake one (meaning fan made) and this shows as published 2 months ago? Some of the comments below it make it seem like a fan made

I believe this is fan made. They talked about what was shown and this is missing those parts.

They should just call the movie "75% of the Avengers and Some of the New Guys Too"

Yeah, it really does seem like Avengers 2.5 but with emphasis on Cap. I am concerned that they are going to pack too much in, which more often than not tends to be bad. I am hoping that the Russos that did such a great job with Winter Soldier will be able to corral all this and give us as good a story and feel as that.

Completely agree.

Though based on the premise, I think I'll find myself rooting against the protagonists. I love Cap, but put me on the pro registration side. #teamDMV

I think many of the characters will be little more than glorified cameos. Yeah, War Machine, Falcon, Nick Fury, etc. were in Age of Ultron but they were there in support of the team.

I've been thinking about it more and more and I would loooooove Natalie Dormer.

She's the one I chose in an online poll. I like Charlize Theron, but not sure how many she would be up for. She is the oldest of the ones most proposed. I think Yvonne Strahovsky (from "Chuck") has a good look but not sure if the acting chops. I just don't think Katee Sackhoff is a good enough actress and I personally am not a big fan of Emily Blunt. I don't know much about Kathryn Winnick ("Vikings").

Marvel will probably pull the rug out from under all of us and get someone who has hardly been mentioned.

I've seen all over the place that Blunt is all but confirmed.

So is Capt Marvel going to have a British accent? She was a USAF pilot, right?

I have heard that too. But I also heard that Spider-Man was Dylan O'Brien and then Asa Butterfield. So, I will believe for sure once someone from Marvel says it.

NOTE: I am not picking back at you at all and please don't take this as argumentative. I am just saying I won't believe anything for sure until Kevin Feighe says it.

Now that it is known that Hawkeye and Ant Man are on the same side, hopefully we will get this scene...
