My team rolled my brother for the championship in my league last night.

Daddy won $600.

My team was set up perfectly to take home the gold (and $300) but will end in what can only be described as a meltdown for the ages. Luck, Charles, my-lack of a second dependable RB, Evans, and Olsen COMBINED for 37 points. Frank Gore (on my bench) scored 30 by himself. Cobb helped me and I still have E. Sanders and Green tonight, but still. Not only am I out of first, but there's a good chance I drop to 4th and out of the earnings spots. We do high points in my league. My team scored well below my season avg on the day it mattered most.

LOL I won 3/4 of my league's this year. Got so lucky tonight. I won by .33 in one league due to Hill's last 13 yard run with 1 min left. And won another league in a close one cause the other guy had AJ Green. Odell Beckham won me 2 leagues all by himself, guy is a monster.

I actually lost 99-98 in my final. I have Hill as well and if he doesn't go down and gets 3 more yards I would have tied. Luckily me and the guy I aged agreed to split the pot so there was only bragging rights on the line.

The Demarco injury screwed me. I lost by 3.5. Full Demarco week would have been a win. I had Tom Brady, Murray, Forte, and Antonio Brown. I owned the season, but the wheels fell off this week.

Haha that's horrible. It's stupid luck how any other time in the game, Hill gets 3-5 more yards but he goes down to the game situation. I had good teams in all my leagues, but this is one year that I fully had luck on my side for once when I needed it.

I know this is last years thread, but I thought I'd fire it up again. Is anyone out there prepping for the 2015 Fantasy Football season yet? I've been researching for the past month already. I'm addicted to it.

lol i never even think about it until preseason, you can't really create a draft board until you know who's healthy etc.

That being said I know some folks on here missed out on the IE FF league last year as we were full so im declaring my interest to take part again this year now :D

I read he hasn't signed his franchise tag tender yet which means the Giants can retract it if they'd like.

I would definitely be interested in being a part of an IE FF league as well. Played for the first time last year and its addicting

That has to be a HIPPA violation.

If I was JPP, I would sue that hospital for say... $65 million.

ESPN is gonna be hacking phones and releasing peoples nudes before you know it. Besides it being illegal i dont know why anyone would think its ok to post other peoples medical records online like that

HIPPA applies to the health worker, not the journalist.

Even releasing it knowing JPP didn't allow it? That it wasn't legally obtained? Or the fact Shefty tweeted an actual pic of part of the records?

Yep. Only healthcare workers and hospitals/clinics, etc. can violate HIPAA.

Someone at the hospital will most likely get fired, and the hospital could be facing a large lawsuit though.

Also it is still a pretty douche move by Schefter

How close do you guys pay attention to strength of schedule for a position? I used it last year as a tool and it helped me with receivers but not with running backs. Anyone have any tricks or tips they've discovered over the years that you'd like to share?

I don't consider it at all when drafting, only with who starts week to week.

I'm big on just drafting the best players.. When you look at SOS and things like that, stuff constantly changes. Schedules that looked hard aren't. So just take the best guys and go from there

I agree and in today's game I've started drafting WR's first. Take a top QB or RB if able but late first round go WR-WR. Has worked like magic last two years. There are so many 3rd or later round pick RB's that are studs as well as QB's that manage to score points. Late round WR's become a guessing game on when they will produce.

Funny, I've always done the opposite. Go RB heavy the 1st few rounds, with the exception of an elite QB, and then pick from low 1st tier to high 2nd tier WRs. If you have 2 top RBs you are hard to beat IMO.

Same here. Football has changed so much, I put way more emphasis on QB/WR/TE than RB nowadays. I usually have gotten 3rd down backs in the middle rounds for PPR leagues who are worth it when you can take a couple stud WRs early.

Out of curiosity, who would you guys take if you ended up with the #1 pick this season? I would hate to draft there, but I'd be awfully tempted to take Gronk since I absolutely hate the idea of starting just about anyone else there. Every other TE seems to put up a clunker of a game every other week, and Graham/Thomas had massive downgrades leaving their old teams. Even if I snagged someone good like Kelce I would expect him to drop 5 points every other game while Gronk seemingly gets 15 on a bad week.
